DESCRIPTION:Earn that Thanksgiving Day stuffing by bringing the whole family and all your friends out to participate in the Thanksgiving morning turkey trot 5K in scenic and historic Hot Springs National Park\, Arkansas. The race takes place on the Hot Springs Greenway\, starting and ending at the Transportation Depot. Participants will receive a finisher’s medal to commemorate the day! This year our swag will be long sleeved t-shirts for youth participants and windbreakers for adult participants. The inventory is limited though\, so be sure to register early! In the effort to get everyone off to their respective holiday plans\, we will not have an awards ceremony\, but you will still see winning categories on RunSignUp. \nOverall Male and Female will walk away with sumpthin pumpkin! Pumpkin Pie? Pumpkin Roll? Gotta be there to find out! \nProceeds benefit Hot Springs Friends of the Parks specifically for expanding the multi-use trail system in Hot Springs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPacket Pickup Days and Times\n\nWednesday\, November 26 from 3-5pm at The Parks and Trails office at 111 Opera Street in Hot Springs. \nThursday\, November 27\, from 6:30-7:45am at The Transportation Depot at 100 Broadway Terrace in Hot Springs. \n\n\n\n\n\nSwag Alert!\n\nSwag is limited inventory. You will take a stroll through Arkansas’ most beautiful campus and over to the Stone Dam Creek Paved\, Multi-Use Trail that leads through a beautiful wooded preserve\, across the Dave Ward Drive pedestrian bridge\, to the water station turnaround\, and back. \nStrollers permitted. No bikes. No pets. \n8 AM        Gobble Wobble Kid’s Mile start\n8:30 AM   Turkey Trot 5K start\nCan’t be there in person? We also offer a virtual run/walk option and you will still get all the swag! Virtual racers can complete the race and submit results between Nov. 20 and Dec. 3.

This 3-mile family-friendly fun run and walk is the perfect way to kick off Thanksgiving with your family and the rest of the Cabot community. \nThe Cabot Turkey Trot is a FREE event\, but we welcome donations to benefit The CALL\, an organization supporting foster and adoptive children and families in Lonoke County and beyond. Let’s come together to make a difference! \nRegister to run today! While the event is free\, we encourage participants to bring individually packaged snacks\, bottled water\, and $5 to $10 gift cards for taking kids and teens out for ice cream/treats (Sonic\, DQ\, Freddie’s\, etc.) that will be donated to The Call. Monetary donations are also accepted during registration\, and all proceeds go directly to this incredible cause. \nT-shirts will be available for purchase on the day of the event. \nWant to add more fun?
