DESCRIPTION:This event encompasses the philosophy of our legacy tour in Eureka Springs – Shred downhill all day!! \nThis event is open to all riders of the gravity heritage. Love doing laps in the park with your amigos? This event is for you! Think downhill riding isn’t hard? This event may be for you too! \n-Pro & Xtreme Participants must complete a total of 14 laps – Two laps on each of DH1-DH7.  NO shuttles for the Solo Xtreme. \n-Expert Participants must complete a total of 12 laps – Two laps on each of DH1-DH6. \n-Amateur & Junior Participants must complete a total of 10 laps – Two laps on each of DH2-DH6. \n-Registration includes Shuttle pass for race day.  The Xtreme category is not included in this. \n-Lowest cumulative time wins. \n-Awards for Podium and Overall Pro cash prizes. (Cash prize structure will be announced asap/prior to Registration closing and may be based off of participation) \n-SPORTident professional timing system. \n-Timed ‘Downhill All Day’ #downhillallday \n-Special Event Swag for all Participants. \n-Fun atmosphere in the pit area when you’re not racing to hang out with your friends and family. \n-Expect lots of metal and rock music All Day. \n-Post race meal for all registered participants. \n-Aid station on course. \n-Event Shirts available for purchase. \n-PIT AREA is open to participants\, spectators\, fans\, and hecklers. Vendors – Please Contact april@slaughtertrailguides.com. \n  \nSCHEDULE \nFRIDAY \nWill include Pre-Ride and Early Check In \nShuttle Pass available for purchase at https://www.slaughtertrailguides.com/downhillallday \nSATURDAY \nWill include all race categories timing chip pickup\, race times\, mandatory Racers Meeting\, Pre race meal\, etc. \n*Full schedule will be posted the week of the race and emailed out to all registered participants. \n  \nRULES \n-The winning Racer is determined by completing their respective categories lap total in the shortest total combined time. \n-Racers can choose to ride any course in any order. (Stages 1 & 7 CLOSE @ 12PM) \n-Chosen Gaps\, Drops and Mandatory Jumps will be taped off! \n-Timing stations will be placed at the start and finish of each stage. Participants must stay on the race stages throughout the event. Racers deviating from the designated stages will be penalized. \n-Once Racers have entered the lift line through the pit area\, there is no cutting in line. \n-In the case of a downed Racer that receives assistance provided by another participant – the helping Racer’s time will be adjusted by averaging the lap times from the particular stage\, or a re-run authorized by the Race Director. The downed Racer may not qualify for a re-run. If you cannot contact the Race Director wait at the Timing Booth until receiving direction. \n-On site waiver will be required to be signed at the venue. Park in the gravel parking lot nose in\, not blocking other park patrons from entering or using the walking trails. Shuttles will pickup participants and drive you back up the hill to the race venue. \nCamping – No camping will be available at this event location. \nPlease check out Topo Motel\, RV parks\, camp grounds\, hotels\, Airbnb’s\, etc. in the area for your accommodations. \nDogs – If you don’t want to be tethered all weekend leave your dog at home. Even good dogs must be on a leash at all times. \nWater – We recommend you come prepared with enough water to be self-sufficient. We will provide water at the aid station during race times. \nPack It In\, Pack Out – If you haul it in you haul it out. Leave no trace. Respect. \nFood – Meal provided to racers on Race Day only. Meal ticket obtained at Registration & Timing tent after turning in your timing chip. Light Aid Station provided during race.  Please bring any other nutrition and snacks you may need. \nWaiver – On-site waiver signed by the Racer. Minors must have parent onsite at Check In to sign waiver. \n  \nPREPARE \nWATER – Bring more than you think you’ll need. Plan to have at least 50-60 ounces on you at all times while riding. \nSNACKS – Have carbs and protein on hand between meals \nSAFETY – This is not the time to skimp on protective equipment. \nTRASH – If you pack it in\, you pack it out. \nNICE TO HAVE – Bug Spray\, spare tubes\, and other parts. \nWe highly suggest a full-face helmet\, knee pads\, and elbow pads as well. DESCRIPTION:The Pie Ride is proud to be the official cycling event of the Arkansas Pecan Festival! \nJoin us for a 35-mile ride on the (all paved) roads around Keo\, Arkansas\, past historic pecan orchards that are the home of Keo’s vibrant pecan industry. After you finish the ride make sure to stop at Charlotte’s Eats and Sweets for a cup of coffee and a slice of pecan pie (or cake!) and then check out the rest of the festival with vendors and live music. More details on the festival at https://www.facebook.com/keopecanfest/ and the route map at https://www.strava.com/routes/2970704834353943456 \nWhen registering\, make sure to pick Team Pie or Team Cake based on your dessert preference! \nKeo is a wonderful and inviting town to the southeast of Little Rock. Their efforts at being cyclist-friendly are quickly paying off as not only the host of The Pie Ride but also as rest stop host for other major cycling events in central Arkansas.
