This means we pick out race venues and work directly with landowners and managers to produce the highest quality youth development racecourses and events. The student-athletes get a stage of their own\, away from adult competitions\, and we strive for safety and fun above all other factors. \nThe Arkansas League will produce a total of 7 events in 2024.  On our Time Trial weekend we will have a special Race Clinic Event on that Saturday aimed at getting more girls on bikes in addition to allowing newer riders have a practice race\, attend a race clinic and do their first mass start.  Followed by a Prelude Time Trial and 4 races in the fall.  New for 2024 we have 2 Regions.  Plains (Central\, South and NE Arkansas) and Plateaus (NWA and OK generally).    The competitive racing will consist of 2 regional events\, and 2 All league Events.   We will crown regional champions at the end of Race 3 based of total points and also have a true “winner take all” State Championship Event at Race 4.  Athletes must have attended atleast 2 prior races to be eligible to win the State Championship.

SUMMARY:Tour da Delta 2024
DESCRIPTION:This year Tour da Delta will be a group gravel ride down the levee and gravel road of the beautiful Saint Francis National Forest out to Storm Creek Lake where there will be restrooms and a rest stop. We will also ride down the gravel road of the Forest out to where the Saint Francis River empties into the Mississippi River where there will be another rest stop. The ride will be approximately 25 miles. We will also ride over to Freeman Playground\, the River Park and also swing past the American Legion Hut and show everyone the Merci Train Car that was a gift from France back in 1949 for defending them in WW1 and WW2. Lodging accommodations for cyclist are available at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Showers are available a block away for an additional fee. See our website at www.tourdadelta.net or www.kingbiscuitfestival.com for contact and reservation information at the Episcopal Church. Each rider will have to bring their own air mattress or cot. The 25 mile group gravel route starts at 9:30 a.m. from the Thrive Warehouse at 415 Ohio Street in the downtown area of Helena and over by the Levee. Registration the day of the ride is $15. We will also offer a day pass into the King Biscuit Blues Festival for an additional $20 and there are 14 E-Bikes available to rent for an additional $30 for the ride. Anyone that rents an E-Bike will also get a helmet with the E-Bike Rental.

FROM PINE BLUFF OR LITTLE ROCK\, TAKE THE NEW HWY 167  FROM I-530 PASSING SHERIDAN AND THEN EAST ON HWY 46 1 MILE TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER.  BE VERY\, VERY\, CAREFUL CROSSING THE BYPASS ON THE ARKY\, GOING OUT OF SHERIDAN AND RETURNING. The 52nd annual Joe Weber Arky 100 has four ride options: 25\, 50\, 62\, and the famed 100 mile course and now a 50 mile gravel route also. All routes are on low traffic roads through Grant and Dallas Counties. We have long sleeve cotton poly shirts. Sheridan is at the intersection of US 270 and 167\, 31 miles south of Little Rock. The Community Center is on Hwy 46 S\, 1 mile southwest of town. . (follow signs for the Community Center at 1511 S. Rose St. or Grant County Museum just before it.) From LR or Pine Bluff\, you can take the new 167 bypass and exit at Hwy. 46 and go east\, back toward town about 1 mile.  Route Maps can be printed in advance in the Forum at arkansasbicycleclub.org \nBicycle helmets are required.  The 50\, 62\, 100 and gravel rides begin at 8:30 a.m. Twenty-fiver milers will start at 8:40 after the long riders and are welcome to start by 10:00 a.m. The course closes at 3:30 p.m. with riders on their own afterwards. SUMMARY:Arkansas NICA Race 4 - Champions Weekend
DESCRIPTION:One of the great things about a NICA League\, which separates us from other youth cycling development programs\, is we produce our own youth-specific events. This means we pick out race venues and work directly with landowners and managers to produce the highest quality youth development racecourses and events. The student-athletes get a stage of their own\, away from adult competitions\, and we strive for safety and fun above all other factors. \nThe Arkansas League will produce a total of 7 events in 2024.  On our Time Trial weekend we will have a special Race Clinic Event on that Saturday aimed at getting more girls on bikes in addition to allowing newer riders have a practice race\, attend a race clinic and do their first mass start.  Followed by a Prelude Time Trial and 4 races in the fall.  New for 2024 we have 2 Regions.  Plains (Central\, South and NE Arkansas) and Plateaus (NWA and OK generally).    The competitive racing will consist of 2 regional events\, and 2 All league Events.   We will crown regional champions at the end of Race 3 based of total points and also have a true “winner take all” State Championship Event at Race 4.  Athletes must have attended atleast 2 prior races to be eligible to win the State Championship.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a bike camping overnighter! Starting near downtown Bentonville ( exact location coming soon)\, we’ll ride 6 miles on gravel to Bike Camp Pea Ridge. We’ll camp there overnight\, returning to our starting location in the morning. \nCampers need to bring all of their own camping gear\, however\, we have some equipment available to loan if needed. Campers are encouraged to carry their own gear\, however a support vehicle will be available for any gear that isn’t able to be carried on your bicycle. \nAll Bodies on Bikes will provide the route\, light refreshments and snacks at camp\, campfire wood and s’mores supplies. Campers should bring their own dinner\, breakfast\, and snacks. DESCRIPTION:Chasin Payson is a Mountain Bike challenge race. Competitors will start at 2 PM on Saturday\, October 26th\, and race as long as possible until 6 PM at Coler on a 3-mile course.
