Phat Tire Bike Shops have stepped in to help and be a part of the ride and SAG stops.\n\n4 SAG stops Donuts at PrairieGrove\, Breakfast burritos at Lincoln\, and Pancakes at SiloamSprings Phat Tire Bike Shop. Beer and Burgers at Phat Tire Springdale There is also a stop at the Highfill Mart in Highfill (nothing free here folks) Bring a little cash or card for drinks in Lincoln and Highfill\n\nAsking for a $20 donation to help cover food and beer\n\nThe ride starts and ends in downtown Springdale at the Phat Tire Shop. The bike shop will be open just before midnight for any last-minute supplies you might need.\n\nThis is NOT a race event. A social pace is encouraged. There will be NO SAG vehicles on the route. If you cannot finish you will need to arrange a pickup If you know of anyone who can help with SAG please have them contact me at 479.879.6172.\n\nPlease reply on the Facebook Event page us know you are attending to get a head count for food/drink. SUMMARY:Arkansas NICA Race 1 - Plains Region
DESCRIPTION:One of the great things about a NICA League\, which separates us from other youth cycling development programs\, is we produce our own youth-specific events. This means we pick out race venues and work directly with landowners and managers to produce the highest quality youth development racecourses and events. The student-athletes get a stage of their own\, away from adult competitions\, and we strive for safety and fun above all other factors. \nThe Arkansas League will produce a total of 7 events in 2024.  On our Time Trial weekend we will have a special Race Clinic Event on that Saturday aimed at getting more girls on bikes in addition to allowing newer riders have a practice race\, attend a race clinic and do their first mass start.  Followed by a Prelude Time Trial and 4 races in the fall.  New for 2024 we have 2 Regions.  Plains (Central\, South and NE Arkansas) and Plateaus (NWA and OK generally).    The competitive racing will consist of 2 regional events\, and 2 All league Events.   We will crown regional champions at the end of Race 3 based of total points and also have a true “winner take all” State Championship Event at Race 4.  Athletes must have attended atleast 2 prior races to be eligible to win the State Championship.

DESCRIPTION:Tour de Tacos is a unique cycling event that combines a passion for tacos with a purposeful cause for Dress for Success. Participants have the option to pedal 7\, 32\, or 62-mile routes across the NWA greenway\, finishing the race with various taco stops at the finish line. The first 500 participants who register will receive a swag bag filled with items from local businesses. Dress for Success empowers women by providing professional attire\, support networks\, and life-enriching programs\, and helping them achieve economic independence. Beyond raising funds\, Tour de Tacos fosters a vibrant community spirit\, uniting cyclists and taco enthusiasts alike in a fun-filled fundraiser for a meaningful cause.
