SUMMARY:The Ugly Gnome 2025 Arkansas Mountain bike Championship Series (AMBCS) XC Race.
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Central Arkansas Off Road Group\, Visit Conway and Bell and Company: (the proceeds from this non-profit event benefit NICA/Conway Bearcats and Central Arkansas Off Road Group who are responsible for many of the local trails.    Since we are racing on Mother’s Day Weekend\, we want to celebrate mom’s!    Mom’s race free.  If you are a mom and want to race\,  please email arkansasracesolutions@gmail.com and request your entry code to register. \nGet ready for the 2025 Gnome:    Expect new course features and fun at the Conway Meadows Tech Park.   The course is a 3.2 mile lap that has something for everyone\, from junior racers\, beginners to experienced CAT 1 Experts.  Expect fast and flowy sections. some rocks\, a few roots\, some new features including some jumps.  NOTE: everything is beginner friendly also. \nWe will have food trucks on site at the venue over the weekend. \nLodging:   Free tent camping and RV camping.  Primitive RV spots available (no power or water) Restrooms will be portable toilets.   Please park in designated RV /Camping areas and pack in/out.  Leave no trace.   No open fires without a fire pit.\nSee the Race Flyer https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Tq4XwEOrBbC3edPKvC3psQEq4IHkSehlbtqlBr1AJDs/edit \nStart Times:  \nhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-MPAPAcR_cnfmRjacj37mjgURNjZAIisc3oPhAHuPdM/edit?usp=sharing \nIMPORTANT NOTE:  RACE PLATES.  You will be required to answer details if you have an AMBCS Plate already for 2025 during registration .  If you DO NOT have a race plate you are required to purchase one during registration process for 25.00.   This is a one-time annual fee for the series that helps provide the electronic timing for all AMBCS events.    This will minimize your wait and lines the sign-in tent on race day. \nWant to help us out and get some sweet swag in the process?    Become one of our amazing event volunteers.  Sign up HERE  COMING SOON! \nUSA Cycling License Info: \n\nCat 1 & 2 – an annual USA Cycling license is required to race.  One-day license is not allowed in either category.  USAC is offering a discounted license for new annual license holders.  Go to www.usacycling.org and purchase an annual license.  At checkout\, use the following code:\n\n“INTROMEMB25” (exp 12/31/25) $60 off (Creates a $50 membership)\n\nValid for 1st time Members only\nCan only be used on Adult Race memberships\n\n\n\n\nJunior – see USA Cycling website for details. https://usacycling.org/get-started/bike-racing-for-kids-and-teens.\nNovice (Cat 3)\, Single Speed\, E-bike and Clydesdale – for anyone who does not hold an annual USA Cycling license\, a $15 one-day license fee is required to participate.\nCitizen (1st timer) categories entry fees include the one-day license fees.\n\nEVENT INFO: \n\nNo Onsite Registration:   We want to run an efficient race and have fun with you! so no lines\, just packet pickup at at the race on Saturday from 7:30 am until 30 minutes before the last race. \nPractice / Pre-Ride – The course is posted and is available for pre ride any time prior to the event.  We will allow a 1 hour window on race morning then no pre riding is allowed while racers are on course.

Feeling more adventurous?  Or go for a gravel option. Our gravel course will take you south of Fayetteville and wind you through various terrain.  First event ride?  Want to stay on the paved trail? We have that as well!  Enjoy some amazing aid stations.
