SUMMARY:Rogers Cycling Festival
DESCRIPTION:Get Out\, Stay Active and Spend Time With Family: The 2023 Rogers Cycling Festival (RCF) is a great way to enjoy the beautiful scenery\, roads\, and trails of Rogers. In partnership with the City of Rogers\, the RCF is a family-friendly event coming Saturday\, September 9. Participants are invited to check in from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Frisco Plaza in Downtown Rogers. Before riding\, be sure to check out the many booths set up featuring local businesses and grab complimentary merchandise and accessories. \nAbout This Year’s Festival: This year we are expanding the offerings of the Cycling Festival. You will still be able to enjoy a nice family ride on the Railyard Loop\, where every part of the ride is on trails and sidewalks during a 15+ mile ride that loops the entire city of Rogers. Riders are encouraged to track their progress by using the Strava app. View the loop here. \nThis year we are introducing the Rogers Enduro Race at Lake Atalanta. Since its inception in the early 2010s\, enduro racing has quickly become one of the most popular mountain bike disciplines\, representing the type of riding a lot of mountain bikers were already doing. Enduro offers technical but accessible racing for riders who want to avoid the full-blooded tracks of downhill racing or the Lycra-clad whippets of cross-country racing. Our race will have something for everyone\, from the professional rider to someone who is just getting started and will take place on the new Mountain Bike Trails around Lake Atalanta. \nMore About Rider Village: Rider Village will be located at Frisco Plaza in Downtown Rogers and features a variety of experiences to relax and have fun after a day of riding in the RCF. Attendees will enjoy various food trucks\, drinks\, and other entertaining activities. After you finish riding and checking out Rider Village\, the fun continues. We have partnered with the City of Rogers to offer a free concert for all of our riders as part of the Railyard Live concert series. \nSponsorships Available: Not a rider? Sponsoring the 2023 Rogers Cycling Festival is an effective\, low-cost way to promote your company and raise your company’s profile in the community. Sponsorship packages include the opportunity to reach all ride participants and be recognized by the Chamber. Contact the Chamber’s Member Services Team at (479) 636-1240 or email MemberServices@RogersLowell.com for sponsorship details. \nCANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds are not accepted within 48 hours of the event.
