Our goal is that you take knowledge and inspiration home with you. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat We’re Planning\n\n\nEvents will open Friday evening with a welcome reception and panel discussion. On Saturday\, we will gather on the Momentary Green where participants will experience different coaching styles through two workshops: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. After a full day\, we will close the summit with a sunset toast.

This style of riding is non-competitive in nature\, and self-sufficiency is paramount. When riders participate in randonneuring events\, they are part of a long tradition that goes back to the beginning of cycling in France and Italy. Friendly camaraderie\, not competition\, is the hallmark of randonneuring. \n\n“…in a nutshell: Cycling with like-minded friends\, on beautiful roads\, while challenging yourself to ride better than you ever imagined. Obey traffic laws and don’t get lost or take shortcuts. \nThe inaugural Ozark Randonneur embarks from Historic Downtown Fayetteville\, Arkansas on\nSaturday\, September 16th\, 2023. For this year’s inaugural event\, we’re offering two distance options: 122.5 Miles and 201 Miles. In order to be an official finisher\, you must make the time cut-offs. \n122.5 Miles – 15 Hours (Back by Midnight) \n201 Miles – 25 Hours (Back by 10 AM Next Day) \nWhile no podium exists for this event\, some may chase a Fastest Known Time for extra bragging rights. \nThere will be no tracking for this event; a ride file must be provided upon completion for a finisher swag bag\, award and an extra raffle ticket.
