DESCRIPTION:The Iron Mountain XC is an AMBCS (Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series) mountain bike race contested on the legendary trail system of Iron Mountain which is located on DeGray Lake just outside of Caddo Valley\, Arkansas.  This is a USA Cycling-sanctioned race and there are categories for all ages and levels.  An annual license is required to race in the Cat 1 category.  All others can race on a one-day license. NOTE: The Novice category entry fee includes the one-day license fee which is $15. \nChip timing\, event t-shirts\, post-race food and beverages (adult and youth)\, and awards are part of this great day of racing. \nAlso\, check out the Iron Mountain Legend trail runs on Saturday\, April 20 to make it a great weekend of soft trail competition.

DESCRIPTION:This camp will be hosted near Slaughter Pen recreation area (mountain bike playground) where we will spend the morning using the grass\, natural terrain and purpose-built obstacles to learn lots of awesome skills. In the afternoons we’ll hop on the nearby trail system which incorporates progressive features\, but also provides alternatives for riders of all levels. \nWhy is Northwest Arkansas an up and coming mountain biking destination in the country right now? Because the community and the local Walton Family Foundation take mountain biking seriously. They hired the best trail builders in the business to design an epic trail system within city limits with paved bike paths leading to every trailhead. The result\, a plethora of different trails to match any level of experience including some of the most competitive trails in the U.S. As if all this wasn’t enough\, the lower altitude allows enthusiasts to ride almost year-round.

DESCRIPTION:The Highlands Gravel Classic is the only age-group qualifier in the USA for the Trek UCI Gravel World Series (GWS) as 1 of 2 qualifying events in North America.The GWS will include both new and existing events from around the world as part of the series to qualify competitors to attend the world championships in October.  Selection to the world championships will be per age group and gender.  The top 25% finishers of ages 19-34 and then every 5-year age groups (ex 35-39) with age groups seperated by gender will qualify. There is a U19 age category\, but it is NOT a qualifier category. \nHighlands Gravel Classic will have 2 courses…the Highlands – 66 miles and Farmlands – 52 miles.  The 66 mile course is for Males (19-59) and Females (19-49). 52 mile course is for Males 60+ and Females 50+. \nField Participant Caps: \n\nFarmlands course – 500 total riders\nHighlands course – 600 total riders
