SUMMARY:Arkansas Enduro Series | Round 2 | EUREKA ENDURO
DESCRIPTION:An annual stop on the Arkansas Enduro Series\, the Eureka Enduro is a rowdy weekend of racing through the “The Little Switzerland of the Ozarks” and the Victorian-style resort town of Eureka Springs. The community is home to some of the best mountain biking in Arkansas including the Lake Leatherwood Gravity Park and the largest gravity park in the state. Additionally\, Eureka Springs offers a huge variety of trails with breathtaking Ozark Mountain views including the Great Passion Play and Marble Flats – where professionally developed singletrack leads to natural sandstone formations eloquently incorporated into the trails design. \nRegistration opens Saturday\, June 15th at 8am with participation based on a first-come\, first-served basis. To create a rewarding enduro race experience\, organizers reserve the right to limit overall event participation. Each participant entry includes: \nTwo-day competition with up to 14 stages and 30-35 total miles of rider-designed racing with dedicated pre-race practice times the day before the race. \nSufficiently marked courses with maps emailed to participants the week of the event. \nLively mid-race aid stations with access to professional neutral mechanics and medical support. \nProfessional event timing with accuracy to the 1000th of a second and instant results. \nComplimentary post-race meal and cold beverages (21+ for adult beverages\, ID required) in a family-friendly festival setting.

SUMMARY:Arkansas NICA Race 2 - Mid Season Classic
DESCRIPTION:One of the great things about a NICA League\, which separates us from other youth cycling development programs\, is we produce our own youth-specific events. This means we pick out race venues and work directly with landowners and managers to produce the highest quality youth development racecourses and events. The student-athletes get a stage of their own\, away from adult competitions\, and we strive for safety and fun above all other factors. \nThe Arkansas League will produce a total of 7 events in 2024.  On our Time Trial weekend we will have a special Race Clinic Event on that Saturday aimed at getting more girls on bikes in addition to allowing newer riders have a practice race\, attend a race clinic and do their first mass start.  Followed by a Prelude Time Trial and 4 races in the fall.  New for 2024 we have 2 Regions.  Plains (Central\, South and NE Arkansas) and Plateaus (NWA and OK generally).    The competitive racing will consist of 2 regional events\, and 2 All league Events.   We will crown regional champions at the end of Race 3 based of total points and also have a true “winner take all” State Championship Event at Race 4.  Athletes must have attended atleast 2 prior races to be eligible to win the State Championship.
