We also host special programs for families and community education throughout the year.  Our family programs served 451 in 2022.  All of our services are free and confidential.  We rely on grants\, donations\, and fundraisers like this one to keep our doors open and our services available to all in need. \nWhat to Expect\nOur 2024 race will be at the Batesville Community and Aquatics Center.   It will be all indoor.  Kids will swim in the competition pool (floaties and life jackets allowed for younger children) then run down the hall to the walking track to finish the run portion.  Each child will have an assigned volunteer following them through the race for safety and direction.  Children may register for “run only” if they are uncomfortable swimming. \nRegistration\nRegister online or by phone ahead of time for the best deal on your race fee.  SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE. Race packets containing t-shirts\, race numbers\, and waivers may be picked up on Wednesday\, May 29th at our office located at 184 N 5th St. in Batesville between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Otherwise\, they will be available at the registration desk on the day of the race.  Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. on the day of.  Day of registration is $20. However\, we can only guarantee t-shirt sizes for pre-registered participants. \nRace Legs\nParticipants will be divided into age groups and will go in the pool first.  Floaties and life vests may be used by younger children in the pool.  Racers will then put on their shoes and proceed down the hall to the walking track to complete the run portion. Please note there is a fairly steep hill on University Street mid way through the run course.
