We will enjoy the amazing view at the Sunset Point while running the Rim Trail \nWe can no longer have alternative starts as in running to the top\, riding bike back\, starting at the top and running to the start/finish area. We have to start at the starting line and finish by crossing the finish line for both distances. \n50K Course   Gaia Map   GPX file   Google Map\nIgnore the distance and elevation in the Gaia map. I have no idea how it added extra loops. The course is correct\, the distance and elevation is way off. I think actual distance is 32.0 miles with 5\,500 feet of climb. \n50K: Start at Shores Lake Pavilion Start/Finish area. Turn north on Co RD 75 to Co RD 76 (4.25mi)\, Turn right on Co Rd 76 follow for (3.67mi) to Co Rd 77\, Turn Left onto Co Rd 77 follow for (4.66 mi) continue left onto Co Rd 78 follow for (0.50mi) Turn right on CO Rd 79 for 1.25 miles\, turn around and go back to the intersection\, continue right on Co Rd 79 follow for (2.50mi) Turn Left onto White Rock Mountain Rd\, follow for (4.06mi) to Bowels Gap Rd follow for (0.10mi) turn left onto White Rock Rim Trail\, follow staying on trail for (2.1mi) this is around the mountain back to Bowels Gap Rd\, Turn left onto Bowels Gap Rd\, follow for (0.70mi)\, Turn left onto Co Rd 76 and follow for (0.06) to Ozark Highlands Trail \, Turn left and follow the Ozark Highlands Trail for (1.47 mile)s to the Rock Shores Lake West Trail\, Turn right and follow the Rock Shores Lake West Trail for (0.30 mile) to Co Rd 76\, turn left on Co Rd 76 and follow for .68 miles to Co Rd 75\, turn left on to Co Rd 75 for (4.25 miles) back to Shores Lake Pavilion Start/Finish area. \n25K Course   Gaia Map   GPX file   Google Map\nIgnore the distance and elevation in the Gaia map. We’ve had sunny skies\, rain\, fog\, and sometimes all during the same event. Snow is possible\, but not anticipated. \nBe prepared to face all that the weather can throw at you! \nWill I be running in the dark? \nYes.  You should bring a light source and back up batteries.  At this time of year\, the average sunrise is 6:45 AM and the average sunset is 6:00 PM. \nWhat do I need to bring? \nAt very minimum\, all racers will be required to carry a water bottle or hydration pack AND a light (flashlight or headlamp) at dark. Due to the remote nature of parts of the trail\, runners will not be allowed on the course without a way to carry water. We strongly suggest you carry a backup light with you at all times.  If you’re wondering about additional gear\, check out this video from Runner’s World. A cell phone is recommended and and service is good on the majority of the course. \nHow tough is the course? \nTerrain = very hilly\, total climb between 100 and 200 feet per mile (5\,000 – 8\,000 feet in 50 miles)\nSurface = trail or dirt road with substantial rocks\, roots and/or ruts

SUMMARY:One Hour Track Run
DESCRIPTION:New Date!\nRace hosted by the River Valley Runners\n•Kicks off the 2025 Grand Prix Season!\n•Run on a standard 400 meter track\n•Grand Prix Championship Event\n•Two separate heats to decrease track congestion\n\n\nDay of race registration: $35.00\n\n\nChili and all the fixin’s will be provided\n\n\nThe first One Hour Track Run was held in 1983 as part of Grand Prix II. This run took place in Russellville at the Arkansas Tech University track. The One Hour Track Run was eliminated after one year as the Grand Prix was trimmed to a core of four races for most of the 1980’s. Later incarnations of a One Hour Track Run were located in El Dorado and later Camden\, Arkansas\, and were a Grand Prix staple in the 1990’s. After 1998\, the One Hour Track Run ceased to be run until the Long Distance Running Committee decided to revive it as part of the 25th Running of the Grand Prix in 2006. Fittingly\, the One Hour Track Run returned to Russellville for Grand Prix XXV\, and was held at the Russellville High School Track. \nThe course is a standard\, 400 meter track. Very Flat! Aid stations every 1/4 mile! \nONE HOUR TRACK RUN WILL BE AT Russellville High School\, Russellville\,AR 72802 \nENHANCED SECURITY FROM RPD WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE RACE AND IN THE PARKING LOTS

SUMMARY:Run Rare 5k
DESCRIPTION:RUN RARE: The Rarety 5K is more than just a race… it’s a movement. A celebration. A call to action. It’s a heartfelt and high-energy event powered by Rarety\, a nonprofit organization founded by Taylor\, a Class of 2026 student who has been bravely battling a rare disease for years. \nThis 5K honors the often unseen\, unheard\, and misunderstood voices of rare warriors around the world…especially young people like Taylor\, whose personal journey with a rare condition became the heartbeat of this event. Taylor’s story of strength\, perseverance\, and faith is a testament to what it means to keep showing up\, to keep fighting\, and to never let a diagnosis define your destiny. \nRUN RARE invites people of all ages\, abilities\, and backgrounds to walk\, run\, or roll in solidarity with the rare disease community. Whether you’re lacing up in memory of someone you love\, standing beside a warrior in your life\, or showing support from across the country in our virtual option…your steps help amplify a message that is too often overlooked: \nBeing different is powerful!!!! And every rare story deserves to be seen\, heard\, and celebrated!!!
