We will enjoy the amazing view at the Sunset Point while running the Rim Trail \nWe can no longer have alternative starts as in running to the top\, riding bike back\, starting at the top and running to the start/finish area. The finish line is downtown at 3rd and Wood Streets in front of the Hopkins Ice House about 5 blocks from the start. \nWe are again in the prestigious 2024 Arkansas Grand Prix Series. We will be one of only a few half marathon in the 2024 Series. This will be our 14th year to proudly be in the Series. The Arkansas Grand Prix Series is a series of  races affiliated with RRCA and Arkansas running clubs throughout the state. The racecourse follows out and back sections along the single track trail – one of only 40 worldwide trails to receive the IMBA Epic Trail designation. The terrain is challenging\, the views are amazing. Come find your LIMiT on the LOViT. \nPlease note: This is a challenging distance on a difficult trail. It is crucial that you physically and mentally prepare for the stresses of the race through adequate training and preparation. Run LOViT Endurance Events is a 501(c)3 nonprofit under the umbrella of the RRCA IRS exemption. The LOViT runs are non-commerical fundraisers that benefit the local trail community. \n  \nConditions\n\nAvg High 60F\, Avg Low 35F \nYou will be running in the dark. You should bring a light source and back up batteries. At this time of year\, the average sunrise is 6:45 AM and the average sunset is 6:00 PM. \nWhat do I need to bring? At very minimum\, all racers will be required to carry a water bottle or hydration pack AND a light (flashlight or headlamp). Due to the remote nature of parts of the trail\, runners will not be allowed on the course without a way to carry water. We strongly suggest you carry a backup light with you at all times. \nHow tough is the course? Terrain = hilly\, total climb between 50 and 150 feet per mile (2500 – 7500 feet in 50 miles)\, Surface = trail or dirt road with substantial rocks\, roots and/or ruts \n  \nPacing & Safety Runners\n\nDue to the remote nature of sections of the course\, pacers will be allowed during portions of the race. Safety runners can be picked/switched at crewable aid stations in the pacing sections. Runners 60 years and older may have a safety runner from the start with permission from the Race Director prior to the race. Runners may only have one safety runner at a time. \n100k Safety Runners can be picked up/switched out at the following aid stations: Brady Mountain Road (return trip ONLY – approx mile 37) and Crystal Springs Pavilion (approx mile 48). \n100 Mile Safety Runners can be picked up/switched out at the following aid stations: Brady Mountain Road (1st crossing – approx mile 57.5)\, Avery Recreation Area (east end – approx mile 64.5)\, Brady Mountain Road (return trip – approx mile 71.5)\, Crystal Springs Pavilion (approx mile 82.5)\, Charleton (return trip – approx mile 87). \n  \nDrop Bags\n\nDrop bags are reasonably sized boxes or bags containing your personal items to resupply you during the race. The trail traverses through numerous hollows and takes participants across some of the most rugged and remote terrain in the Ozark National Forest. Runners will follow the Ozark Highlands Trail-Sylamore Section on an out & back course. There are three aid stations on the route and drop bags are allowed at the Twin Creek Aid Station\, which is also the turnaround for the shorter 35K course. \nTwin Creek 35K\nThis course option will follow the same route as the Ozark Highlands 50K\, but turnaround at Twin Creek Road Aid Station. Great idea for those wanting to experience the Sylamore Ranger District trails\, but not quite ready for the 50K.

DESCRIPTION:Death by 5k is coming BACK to N. Little Rock! \nRunStrong Event’s signature 24 hour challenge\, Death by 5k requires participants to run ten 5ks starting every 2.5 hours. The first 5k starts at 8 am\, and subsequent 5ks start at 1030\, 1\, 330\, 6\, 830\, 11\, 130\, 4\, and 630 am. Participants need to be present at the start of each 5k\, and have that 5k finished prior to the start of the subsequent 5k. This challenge is designed to test participants mentally and physically with physical fatigue\, sleep deprivation\, and running in the dark. (Headlamps\, hand lights\, or some other form of illumination will be required) \nDue to the restoration work being done after the tornado damage\, the exact location of the race hq and the 5k route may be changed for safety. Tentatively\, as in the inaugural race in 2022\, Death by 5k N. Little Rock will start and finish at the rugby field at the Burns Park soccer complex\, and will be run on paved paths in the park (white oak trail)\, and including the Arkansas River Trail. Race hq will be at the rugby field. This is where food and drinks will be available. \nIn between each 5k\, participants will be able to sleep in their cars\, or to put up tents in the grass of the rugby field. There is plenty of space for pop up or camping tents. Parking will be in the soccer field parking lots across Tournament Drive from race hq \nThere will be 5 meals\, each including hot food\, served over the course of the event. Meal times will be 830a\, 130p\, 630p\, 1130p\, and 420a. There will also be plenty of snack food and drinks available throughout the event. You will not go hungry or thirsty at a RunStrong Event. \nParticipants will receive an event shirt\, along with Death by 5k swag (Bag\, coozie\, sticker\, cup). Finishers will receive one of our coveted coffin awards with some surprise swag inside. \nRegistration will be limited initially to 125 participants. After that\, a waitlist will be enabled and we will open spots if/when they become available or if we decide to expand the field.

SUMMARY:1st Annual Passion Play Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs will host the 1st Annual Passion Play Trail Run on April 6\, 2024. This event will be one of many events going on at the Passion Play that weekend in celebration of the total eclipse that will occur on Monday\, April 8th. \nThis will be run on the amazing Great Passion Play Trails that are a part of the Oz Trail System of Northwest Arkansas (Click Here to learn more about the Oz Trails at the Passion Play). Runners will get to experience all the aspects of the Passions Play grounds including “Running to Jesus” with all runners going by the Christ of the Ozarks Statue\, experiencing parts of The Holy Land Tour\, and miles of amazing nature and scenery. \nThe four distances are designed to have something for everyone – Fun Run\, 5k Trail Run\, 5 Mile Trail Run\, and Half Marathon Trail Run – all happening on the morning of Saturday\, April 6th. \nFun Run – This will be an all-road course to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue and then looping around the Passion Play grounds.\n5k Trail Run – Starts by running to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue and then on trails: Genesis\, Lord’s Prayer\, Salvation\, Good Samaritan\, and Forgiveness (See map Below).\n5 Mile Trail Run – Starts by running to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue and then on trails: Genesis\, Holy Roller\, Genesis\, Passover\, Revelation for an out and back loop around the Sea of Galilee\, Genesis\, and then finishes by going through the gates of Old City of Jerusalem (See Map Below).\nHalf Marathon Trail Run: This will be a combination of the 5k and 5 Mile Courses. Starts by running to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue on the 5 Mile Course\, then the 5k course\, and then a backwards loop of the 5-mile course. The 3 laps (5 miles\, 3.1 miles\, and 5 miles)\, added up to 13.1 miles. \nRegistration Details & Prices:\n– All Participants that register by March 20th will get an event t-shirt!
