SUMMARY:Papa Loco Marathon And Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The annual loop-de-loop of Tucker Creek Trail in Conway\, Arkansas\, Loco is a laid back race with ample aid station support\, approximately every half mile. We offer both full and half marathon distances. And with an eight hour time limit for both it’s the perfect choice for a first full. (We are walker friendly!) \nPlus\, at only $45 for either race\, Loco is a bargain! All participants (that register in time) will receive shirts and finisher bling. Awards will be given to the top three finishers for each distance\, male and female. \nNEW in 2025: all participants will have the option of adding additional shirts or past swag to their registration. \nPacket pickup will be changing in 2025: pickup will be available at both The Sporty Runner in Conway and Rock City Running in Little Rock on Friday\, as well as at the race on Saturday. You will need to choose your pickup location when you register. Your packet will be at the location you choose during registration. If you need to change your registration location you must email us by Wednesday\, 1/23/2025. \nLoco is Marathon Maniacs and Half Fanatics eligible if you participate on race day. We have a limited number of openings for virtual racers in each distance. Virtual participants will receive a finishers medal but no shirt. (Please note that virtual races are not eligible for MM/HF due to their rules.) \nThe course is certified and a Boston Qualifier though be aware it has been known to register long on some GPS devices.

SUMMARY:Village Creek 10K/25K Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to year 12! \nVillage Creek the Legend! Lace ‘em up tight! Like we always say\, “Mud\, Sweat\, and Tears!” That’s what you will find here at Village Creek State Park—the 31st and 2nd largest in Arkansas. Located just 6 miles south of Wynne\, Village Creek State Park encompasses nearly 7\,000 acres. We have an amazing multi-use trail system that is virtually untouched by the running community most of the year. Equestrian\, Mountain Bike\, and Hiking Trails combine to form a little over 26 miles of manicured sweetness atop the geologic anomaly known as Crowley’s Ridge. \nOur race features a multitude of ups and downs\, both physically and emotionally! Your day will consist of creeks\, mud\, leaves\, sticks\, steep ridgelines\, and our infamous rolling pipeline. All the while a tub of buttercream icing and warm homemade cinnamon rolls wait for you at the finish. \nThe start/finish sits at the edge of our lower campground and boasts some of the most pristine bathhouses of any state park! You can camp so close to the start line that all ya gotta do is roll over toot\, tinkle\, brush\, and run! If cabins are more your thing\, no fear! Village Creek has several 5-star cabins available just up the hill towards Lake Dunn. \nThe 25k has a 6-hour time limit. You have approximately 3hr and 15min to make it to our bib check at the 25k turnaround. If you have not checked out of the turnaround by the 3:15 mark chances are you aren’t gonna get a cinnamon roll….I kid\, I kid! You just won’t get a hot one! \nThe 25K is an out-and-back route starting at the bicycle entrance to the following markers 13\,14\,15\,16\,17\,18\, north past 19 towards 20 where you will reach the turnaround. Aid stations will be at approximate halfway points for both races. This is a cup-free race! Bring your bottles! The 10k is an out and back\, also follow marker 13\,14\,15\,16\, turnaround goes back to finish.

DESCRIPTION:Race hosted by the River Valley Runners\n•Kicks off the 2025Grand Prix Season!\n•Run on a standard 400 meter track\n•Grand Prix Championship Event\n•Two separate heats to decrease track congestion\n\n\nDay of race registration: $35.00\n\nChili and all the fixin’s will be provided\n\nThe first One Hour Track Run was held in 1983 as part of Grand Prix II. This run took place in Russellville at the Arkansas Tech University track. The One Hour Track Run was eliminated after one year as the Grand Prix was trimmed to a core of four races for most of the 1980’s. Later incarnations of a One Hour Track Run were located in El Dorado and later Camden\, Arkansas\, and were a Grand Prix staple in the 1990’s. After 1998\, the One Hour Track Run ceased to be run until the Long Distance Running Committee decided to revive it as part of the 25th Running of the Grand Prix in 2006. Fittingly\, the One Hour Track Run returned to Russellville for Grand Prix XXV\, and was held at the Russellville High School Track. \nThe course is a standard\, 400 meter track. Very Flat! DESCRIPTION:The Mount Ida Area Chamber of Commerce presents a wonderful opportunity to Love Our Outdoor Paradise! February 1st registration/check in will begin at 10am and the race will begin at 11am.  We have reserved February 8th\, as a backup date\, in case the weather prevents the event on the 1st. \nA day of running/walking beginning at the Tompkins Bend Trailhead of the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOVIT) and end at the playground area. There will be one stopping point- Homestead Trailhead-that is a takeout point with a parking area between the Tompkins Bend and Denby Point trailheads\, which is 2 miles\, or you can continue on to Denby Point Trailhead\, an additional 3 miles. The area is located 25 miles west of Hot Springs and 12 miles east of Mount Ida off of Hwy 270. You will turn onto Shangri-La Drive and make the first left which is OLD HWY 270. Look for signs posted for the run. Registration will be set up 500 ft down OLD HWY 270\, at the pavilion. Parking will be at that location and along the road. \n\nThe course will be on the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail\, a single track foot path. This contains no significant creek crossings.\nAid: There will be an aid station set up along the trail; they will have water\, along with other goodies. Runners have the option of entering with their spouse in the Married Sweethearts Division\, or teaming up with a “friend” in the Unmarried Sweethearts Division. The finishing times for the two Sweethearts will be added together to compete against other couples’ composite times. The Sweetheart competition is in additional to the male/female individual races and does not affect an individual’s time\, placing\, or award in the overall race.

DESCRIPTION:The 4th annual Kindness Classic is a 5K\, 10K and a 1K Kids Flash Dash along rolling hills in the shadow of Mount Magazine. Full aid stations will be provided at approximately 4-8 miles apart. Due to the unique nature of these trails the race will not be exactly 50KM. \nRace Start: 9:00AM\nTime Limit: 10 Hours \nDay Two \n50 MILE: “This is where the fun starts”. After a five year absence the Cabot Country Cruisers brought the race back into the Series starting in 2007. \nRace Highlights\n\nRace hosted by the Cabot Country Cruisers\nProceeds benefit Physical Education for Cabot Schools and a Scholarship to a HS Student\nRace ends on the Cabot High School track\nUSATF Course Certification #: AR22001WJT\n\nDirections to the Starting Line\nFrom US-67/167:Take Exit 19 and drive east on Highway 89/Main Street which will turn in to E. Pine Street. Turn left on N. Lincoln St/Highway 38 at Cabot High School and the Panther Stadium parking lot will be on your right about a 1/4 mile. You can also park in the High School lot just west of the Field House off of E. Pine St. Please DO NOT PARK in the Field House Parking lot on Bellamy Street as this is part of the course. The race starts on Bellamy St just outside the Field House. \nNEW FOR 2025: \nPacket pickup\, pre-race waiting\, and awards ceremony will all take place in the fine arts auditorium this year. Nothing will take place inside of the fieldhouse. Start\, finish\, and food remain in the same locations. \nAddress: 401 N Lincoln St \nCourse Description\nThe Spring Fling course starts on Bellamy Street\, just outside of the Cabot High School Field House. The route heads south for 1/4 mile before turning left onto Main St. The race moves into a tree-lined residential area\, and turns south onto Honeysuckle Ln. The runners will curve along this road\, merging onto Linda Lane and continuing south to reach the 1st mile marker. Just after beginning the 2nd mile\, the course turns runners south onto G street for a small loop before returning to Linda Lane to head back to the north. Once the runners have returned to Linda Lane they will pass the 2nd mile marker. The third mile returns the runners to Honeysuckle\, Main St and then north on Bellamy to pass the starting line. The route then turns into the Field House Parking Lot and turning down the ramp to enter the Stadium. The course turns left on the track where runners will hit the 3 mile marker just before the back turn leaving runners just the turn and a short straightaway until the finish line. \nPLEASE NOTE: Use restrooms at the bottom of the track (right inside the stadium) before walking up Bellamy to the starting line\, OR inside the lobby of the auditorium. There are NO bathrooms at the top of the hill.  \nVERY IMPORTANT: We will have pre-race packet pickup from 5-7 PM on Friday\, March 21st at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. We highly encourage you to pickup your packet early. You may pick up for others with a copy or picture of their photo ID. All other packets will be picked up by participants on RACE MORNING between 6:30-7:45 AM at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. If you arrive after 7:45 AM to get your packet\, you will not be permitted to race. Please arrive in plenty of time to come pick up your packet\, get your bib on\, and take your shirt back to your car!  \nRace day registration will be available only if we have not exceeded our cap of 500 5K runners on race day\, cash or check only made out to Cabot Country Cruisers! Race day registration will be $35 for the 5K and $20 for the 1K Kids Race. Pre-registration on RunSignUp closes on 3/20/25 Thursday evening at 5:30 PM. No shirts will be guaranteed after the deadline. Please register early!  \nNo strollers or dogs will be allowed on this course for safety reason. No exceptions.

DESCRIPTION:Race is being held at the beautiful Lake Catherine State Park. You have the choice of two races\, both are challenging\, so you have to make up your mind if you want to run a 10K or a 5K. \n10K race is being ran on the Dam Mountain Trail and consists of making two laps around the trail and then out to the finish line. \n5K race is being ran on the Horseshoe Mountain Trail. You will follow the trail markers around and back to starting line.

This is good stuff to know whenever you are out on the trails.

SUMMARY:Arkansas Run For The Fallen 5K
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that this year we will again have honor bibs. These bibs say “I’m running in honor of…” and you will be able to write in the name of the fallen hero you would like to run in honor of. The first 100 participants will also receive a memorial bracelet in honor of an Arkansas Fallen Hero. \nIf you are participating in the in person 5K event\, you will need to be able to maintain a 10 minute/mile pace for the 5K. This is not a race. Rather\, it is a memorial run where participants run as a group to collectively honor the fallen heroes who were individually honored over the weekend.  Runners will need to report to the state Capitol on Sunday\, March 23rd by 1:00pm to be transported to the start of the run.  The run will conclude at the state Capitol at approximately 2:15 pm and will be followed by a closing ceremony at 2:30pm. \nThe shirt deadline is March 1\, 2025. SUMMARY:Capital City Classic 10K
DESCRIPTION:Once the largest road race in Arkansas\, the Capital City Classic 10K is back on it’s way to the top!  The event moved back to downtown Little Rock in 2022\, and while the 2023 had to be cancelled due to a tornado\, the 2024 race came back as strong as ever!  We grew from 355 registered 10K participants in 2022 to nearly 1\,100 in 2024 and we hope to see it continue to grow in 2025!  Participants of all abilities are welcome\, including walkers. \nMore information about the race and its storied history can be found at https://www.littlerockroadrunners.com/capital-city-classic-10k/.
