SUMMARY:SAU Farm Road Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Farm Road 5K Challenge is an annual race that raises money for The Overcoming Adversity Scholarship. The scholarship supports SAU student-athletes with disabilities. \nFounders\, Briston and Carley Rains\, ran cross country and track and field at SAU (Briston 2020-2023\, Carley 2017-2021). They started this scholarship in 2022 based on Carley’s true testimony of being a student-athlete with a disability (Narcolepsy with Cataplexy). \nRace Details: \nLocation: SAU Alumni Center \nFriday\, March 6\, 2026\n7:30 PM – Packet Pickup Starts\n8:30 PM – Kids’ 1-mile race starts\n8:45 PM – Glow for the Gold Relay starts (4-mile relay; 4-person relay\, each person runs 1 mile) \nKids 1/2 Mile Run receive a medal and a drawstring backpack \nGlow for the Gold 4-Mile Relay: Each participant receives a medal and a shirt \nAwards for the Glow for the Gold 4-Mile Relay: \n\n1st Place Relay\n2nd Place Relay\nMost Spirited Team\n\nSaturday\, March 7\, 2026\n7:30 AM – Packet Pickup Starts\n8:30 AM – 5K Race Starts \nParticipants Receive: \n\nShirt\nMedal\nAge Group Awards\n\nGiveaways will be announced throughout the Friday and Saturday events! \nSponsorships: Support the cause! SUMMARY:The Kindness Classic
DESCRIPTION:The 5th annual Kindness Classic is a 5K\, 10K and a 1K Kids Flash Dash along rolling hills in the shadow of Mount Magazine. Enjoy both waterfront and wooden landscapes as you run along the cart path surrounded by manicured fairways\, smoothly sloping greens\, and some of the most spectacular scenery in the state. Chamberlyne Country Club opened in 1997 and this is the first/only race to be held on location. \nThe Kindness Classic honors Kayla Morris and Landry Morris\, two very special people to the surrounding community who ran their race everyday showing that kindness matters. \nAll profits from the race will go to the Kayla and Landry Morris Memorial Fund.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited that you have landed here on our page.  This year we are doing the COLORS OF CANCER because it was such a big hit last year.  We are changing the colors of shirts etc\, but we are still asking everyone to be creative and wear many colors as you run.  Or wear a white shirt for the color run and make it colorful as you race. \nYou can decide to run VIRTUAL or join us to ENDURE THE DIRT and get DIRTY or do our COLOR RUN and stay somewhat clean.  ! \nENDURE THE DIRT 5K MACKS PRAIRIE WINGS STUTTGART ARKANSAS\nBeginners to elite athletes are welcome to participate in the ninth ENDURE THE DIRT adventure race that’s mission is to raise money to motivate\, encourage\, and educate cancer patients and their caregivers. \nYou can decide to run VIRTUAL or join us to ENDURE THE DIRT and get DIRTY! \nWe have so many options for you to participate. \nThere are several options that we know will fit your needs and level of fun. \nENDURE THE DIRT- COMPETITIVE \nENDURE THE DIRT- TEAM \nENDURE THE DIRT- FUN RUN \nENDURE THE DIRT is a 5K mud run that consists of obstacles that are engineered to test your strength and tackle your fears. Located on the flat land of Stuttgart surrounding Mack’s Prairie Wings\, this course is designed for a healthy individual to understand what a cancer patient endures daily. Fellow participants will be there to give you a boost and help you conquer each task\, just as the cancer patient has their caregivers to help them tackle cancer. \nPOUNDING THE PAVEMENT COLOR RUN \nPOUNDING THE PAVEMENT COLOR RUN   If you don’t want to get dirty you can participate our Pounding the Pavement Color Run.  It is a 5K color run that is so much fun. Last year was our first year and even those that didn’t want to get sprayed with color decided they would. \nMINI MUDDER \nBring your little people and let them get dirty for cancer too.  This is a smaller course right at the finish line that has obstacles adapted for ages 4-9.  Must have a guardian present. \nSLEEP IN/ NOW WE SPRINT VIRTUAL OPTION \nThe NOW WE SPRINT VIRTUAL 50 MILE OR MORE RUN begins January 1st\, 2026.\nWhy in January?  Because of the weather.  Cancer patients have to deal with extreme circumstances just like you may have to deal with extreme weather.  We want you to be uncomfortable\, just like cancer patients are uncomfortable every day while battling the dreaded disease. \nThe Virtual race is also a great way to get ready for Endure the Dirt. Enter your miles by March 6\, 2026. \nWe hope that you take a look venture to Stuttgart and see what all we have going on down in southeast Arkansas.  It is something you don’t want to miss. \nCANCER GETS DIRTY\, BUT WE DO TOO!
