SUMMARY:Lake Nixon Spring Scramble (5K Trail Run and Fun Run)
DESCRIPTION:Join Lake Nixon as we start a new tradition and raise $$ for our annual “campership” (camp scholarship) fund! We are excited for more of the community to experience the trails here at Lake Nixon. \nThe trail run will cover a variety of terrain\, with a few well-marked but steeper and rougher sections. (If there is sufficient demand\, we will add a 10K option). The 5K route will combine the “Lake Nixon Loop” and “Dialed-In” trails that you can find on the All Trails app or website. \nYou may register for the 5K trail run or the 1-mile fun run. Basic 5K registrations are $20 and all fees will go directly toward making Lake Nixon Summer Day Camp financially accessible to as many families as possible. For an optional and additional donation of $20\, you can receive an official race t-shirt (shirt design not yet available). Individuals or Families may register for the Fun Run for $10 an individual or $25 a family. Fun Run registrations with t-shirts are $30/individual and $50/family (limit 4 t-shirts). \nAll registrations include refreshments (water\, bananas\, and other snacks) and a commemorative race sticker/decal.
