Please have your kiddos bring water\, and wear athletic clothes and tennis shoes. It gets hot! Bring the whole family\, we can not wait to see you there! \nPlease register kids only\, adults do not need to register. Registration is FREE but REQUIRED for each child participating under the age of 18. Shirts and medals are also free to those registered BEFORE May 31\, 2024. Gravel bike course is 18 miles\, mtn bike course is 12 miles and the triathlon run course is an epic 5 miles. Both the gravel and mtn bike duathlon run courses will consist of a 3 mile Run #1 and 5 mile Run #2 courses. \nSunday\, June 30 – Ozark Valley Triathlon (road events) is hosting the 2024 Arkansas State Championships in the international and sprint distances as well as the Arkansas High School State Championship.  There is a combined Club Championship competition as well.  These are both road triathlon races and there will be a Aquabike\, duathlon and team category (International distance only) in the Ozark Valley Triathlon. \nOVT road events: \n\nSprint Triathlon – 400 yard swim\, 13 mile bike\, 2 mile run (2024 USA Triathlon Arkansas State Championship and High School State Championship)\nInternational Triathlon (individual or teams) – 1\,000 yard swim\, 19 mile bike and a 4 mile run (2024 USA Triathlon Arkansas State Championship)\nAquabike – 1\,000 yard swim\, 19 mile bike\nSprint Duathlon – 2 mile run\, 13 mile bike\, 2 mile run\n\nAll events will be held at Lake Wedington Recreation Area.  Lake Wedington is located 13 miles west of Fayetteville and is one of the most natural settings for a triathlon in the region. Both spectators and participants can enjoy the natural beauty of the area and combined with unique finisher medals\, post-race food\, awards and prizes all make this race one not want to miss. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEntry Fees Priced With A T-Shirt\n\nEntry Fees are priced with a ringspun cotton t-shirt. But\, there is an option to choose no shirt and save $5 or upgrade to a fully sublimated technical fabric shirt for $15. DESCRIPTION:The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Mountain Home Police Department presents the Red White & Blue Festival 5K Run!  Saturday June 29th\, 2024. \n6:00 – 6:45 am – Packet pickup and on-site registration \n7:00 am – Race starts \n8:15-ish – Awards \nJoin in the fun at the ASU Campus in Mountain Home\, Arkansas. \n  \nCourse Description:\nWe’ll start in front of The Sheid and end in the center of campus at the Keller fountain.  We’re pleased to be the first of what is surely many 5K races to be held at the new walking trail that circles ASUMH. Prime prizes for A\,B\,&C races sponsored by Trek\, Angry Dave’s\, AC&F\, Muk-off\, Tifosi Optics\, Hand-up Gloves\, Blue Sail Coffee\, Lost 40 brewery\, and Diamond Bear brewery.  It’s going to be hot \, but there will be free cold beer for racers courtesy of Flyway brewery! Runners and walkers alike are sure to enjoy scenic lake views and shaded forest trails along our unique\, mixed surface courses. The 5k is an even split between single track trail (1.5 miles) and pavement (1.6 miles). The 10k course covers the same distance of single track trail (1.5 miles) with an extended pavement portion (4.7 miles) that parades runners all the way down to the park’s Caddo Bend peninsula for some beautiful lake views and a welcome breeze coming off the water. All ages and abilities are welcome! \nRace Registration:\nRegistration will be available online through 11:59 a.m. on July 3rd (online registration closes at noon).
