SUMMARY:Arkansas Traveller 100
DESCRIPTION:The Arkansas Traveller is one of the oldest 100 miles races there is\, already having 33 runnings under our belt(buckle). What makes the AT100 so unique among the many ultras today is the combination of volunteer support from many in the running community and beyond\, the beautiful scenery of the Ouachita Trail and Forest Service roads\, and the sneaky-hard runnable hills that will challenge you from beginning to end. This race is considered by many to be a great first 100 for anyone looking to test themselves at the premier ultra distance. But\, every year we are filled with past Traveller finishers that come back again and again to this incredible race.

SUMMARY:SHAM Mini Series of Cyclocross
DESCRIPTION:Come play bikes with us! \nBut…What is cyclocross anyway?! \nWeellll…it’s kinda like if a road bike and a mountain bike and a cross country running event all got mashed together! \nCyclocross is the best spectator friendly cycling event there is. ‘Cross races are held on short 1.5 to 2 mile laps that will mostly consist of grass and sometimes mud but can include sand\, artificial barriers\, hills\, off camber sections\, forced runs\, and just about any dumb thing we can find in the park to make the race more fun to do but also to watch! We strive to make the race fun for everyone that comes out; from beginners and youth racers to the most experienced elite racers in Arkansas but especially to spectators! SHAM endeavors to make as much of the race course visible from as many spots along the way as possible\, but especially at the start/finish line so you can cheer on  your friends and family and all the other racers out for a fun day in the sun…or mud…or maybe snow…but almost definitely sand and grass! \nSHAM Mini Series of Cyclocross \nDates: October 4th\, 8th and 11th\nVenue: War Memorial Park\, 5511 W Markham St\, Little Rock\, AR 72205 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDATE AND TIME \n\n\nCATEGORY \n\n\nFIELD \n\n\nDURATION \n\n\nENTRY \n\n\nAWARDS \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 5 PM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 5 PM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 6 PM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 6 PM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeries Points \n\n\nFirst through Fifth \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n6\, 4\, 3\, 2\, 1 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDirections: Exit 630 onto University going North. SUMMARY:Steady Steve 5K
DESCRIPTION:The Steady Steve 5K on Batesville’s Westside honors the legacy of Stephen Raviscioni\, who worked tirelessly with his loving wife\, Autumn\, to establish Our Father’s Table food ministry. Stephen had also turned to running for fitness and health in a big way before COVID-19 came along. He was stricken with a severe case and we lost his graceful service to the hungry and poor. \nAutumn continues the mission at Our Father’s Table\, and the Steady Steve 5K will help meet the ongoing needs of so many among us. The nonprofit ministry has distributed sack lunches as a street outreach on Saturdays since 2012 and now serves hot meals two nights a week. Our Father’s Table seeks to build nurturing relationships with the hungry and to point them to additional resources in our community for any other needs they may have. \nThe race will begin and end at the Our Father’s Table facility and all proceeds will go to the ministry. (Supporters may fetch a printable flier\, sponsorship form\, and paper entry form attached below.) Entrants may make a donation above and beyond the race fee. The online entry fee is $25\, plus a small transaction fee\, until 6 p.m. Oct. 3. Race-day registration will be $30 from 6:30-7:30 a.m. \nThe race route (see map below) runs through Batesville’s Westside passing West Elementary School. Entrants registered by Sept. 22 will receive a T-shirt in requested size in their packets\, with later entries receiving shirts first-come first-served at packet pickup while supplies last. Awards will be for Top 3 male\, Top 3 female in Runner and Walker divisions\, and finishers award for all.

SUMMARY:Paint Chaffee Pink
DESCRIPTION:Paint Chaffee Pink 2025: A Walk for Hope\, Healing\, and Community \nEach October\, our community comes together for a powerful reason—to stand united in the fight against breast cancer. The Paint Chaffee Pink Walk is more than just a morning of movement; it’s a tribute to strength\, a celebration of survivorship\, and a promise that no one faces cancer alone. \nHeld at the beautiful Celebration Garden and Wellness Park in Barling\, this annual walk brings together survivors\, families\, caregivers\, and advocates from across the region. It is a day filled with love\, remembrance\, and support—a visual reminder of the resilience found in every person affected by breast cancer. \nThe walk also plays a vital role in helping provide life-changing support services through the Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House. Proceeds help fund free programs like educational resources\, prevention screenings\, emotional support\, and patient navigation—offered to anyone facing a cancer diagnosis in our area. \nPaint Chaffee Pink is a chance to raise awareness\, to honor those we’ve lost\, to uplift those still in the fight\, and to celebrate those who’ve come through it with hope. Whether walking in memory\, in support\, or in survivorship\, every step taken echoes with compassion and purpose. \nOn October 4\, 2025\, we invite you to walk with us—to show your support\, to share your story\, and to help us continue painting our community pink with hope.

SUMMARY:2025 RAT 1000 and Mini RAT
DESCRIPTION:RAT 1000 Mile Gravel Stage Race\, RAT 1000 Self Supported Group Departure for ITT\, RAT 1000 mile gravel stage party\, Mini RAT & Tiny RAT. Plan to join us because these will be memories that last forever. \nPlease note that the expectation is for all riders to adhere to the Traffic Codes for each state that they ride in at all times. Failure to operate bicycles safely and properly can lead to disqualification. Littering can lead to disqualification. Trespassing can lead to disqualification and might also get you shot. Don’t do any of these things. More details soon! \nPlanned RAT Stage Race/Party Distances (subject to modification). This is for the folks who want to travel as a group and gather together at the same overnight location each night. \nStage 1 Saturday 6am Start from Texarkana\n140 miles\, 2852ft\, ends in Paris \nStage 2 Sunday Start TBD\n127 miles\, 3700ft\, ends in Denison \nStage 3 Monday Start TBD\n141 miles\, 4782ft\, ends in Henrietta \nStage 4 Tuesday Start TBD\n125 miles\, 2330ft\, ends in Vernon \nStage 5 Wednesday Start TBD\n104 miles\, 2417ft\, ends in Childress \nStage 6 Thursday Start TBD (please note\, this could change to Tulia)\n102 miles\, 4511ft\, ends in Silverton (camping only) \nStage 7 Friday Start TBD\n124 miles\, 2188ft\, ends in Vega \nStage 8 Saturday Start TBD\n139 miles\, 3333ft\, ends in Tucumcari \nSelf Supported ITT is essentially “Tour Divide” rules. Riders are only allowed to utilize assistance available to the general public under normal business and agency operating conditions. The clock starts as soon as the rider starts and doesn’t end until the rider finishes. Live tracking is required as well as publicly available tracking logs. Approved assistance exceptions are typically allowed during Group Depart week from approved “Trail Angels”. \nMini RAT is for anyone who wants to follow the RAT route with no expectation of completing the full route. Ride as many (or as few) as fits into your schedule. We have a single weekend route for people who want to pedal back to DFW: Mini RAT Day 1 140 Miles Texarkana to Paris\nMini RAT Day 2 110 miles Paris to Rowlett Train Station. \nThe Tiny RAT is a 150 mile lollipop from Farmersville to Paris and back which primarily utilizes the NETT. Saturday night overnight in Paris is included which offers the opportunity to socialize with the RAT riders as they come into Paris. Please note\, this is not an “easy” ride. 75 miles each day is likely to feel more like 100 on these sections of the NETT. Self navigation capability is EXTREMELY important. We will provide the route but it will not be verified before hand. It is likely that on the fly adjustments to the route may be needed\, particularly in the case of inclement weather.

SUMMARY:Stride For A Cure: 5K for Breast Cancer Awareness
DESCRIPTION:We’re back for Year 2! Join us for the 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run for Breast Cancer Awareness\, hosted by Dr. Kim Leverett — breast cancer survivor and owner of A Kick Above: A Personal Training Studio.\nKim spent 10 years as a full-time pharmacist before following her passion for fitness and wellness. She transitioned into personal training to help others move beyond managing symptoms to truly living well. In 2013\, after a routine mammogram\, Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her treatment included six rounds of chemotherapy and 35 rounds of radiation. Remarkably\, throughout her treatment\, she continued to train clients and maintain her own workouts — often without anyone knowing what she was facing. Kim credits her faith in Christ\, her fitness foundation\, and the support of her clients for carrying her through.\nNow cancer-free since 2014\, Kim is on a mission to empower others to prioritize their health and wellness. This annual event is her way of giving back\, spreading awareness\, and honoring all those impacted by breast cancer. Net proceeds will benefit the Arkansas Cancer Coalition. Let’s continue to stride together for a cure! \nWhat to expect:\n● Race Day shirt for participants registered before Sep 1st\n● Medal for fun walkers & competitive runners\n● Chip timing with live results for competitive runners\n● Snacks and water at the finish line\n● A positive\, uplifting\, family-friendly atmosphere! \nRegistration:\n● Early Bird (through September 1st): $35\n● Regular (after September 1st): $45\n● Register by September 1st to guarantee your race shirt! Registrants after September 1st will not receive a shirt.
