Join us at the starting line in your most patriotic outfit to run\, walk\, or march the 3.1 mile course (5k)\, or make mom and ‘Merica proud by taking on our 6.2 mile (10k) course. Runners and walkers alike are sure to enjoy scenic lake views and shaded forest trails along our unique\, mixed surface courses. The 5k is an even split between single track trail (1.5 miles) and pavement (1.6 miles). The 10k course covers the same distance of single track trail (1.5 miles) with an extended pavement portion (4.7 miles) that parades runners all the way down to the park’s Caddo Bend peninsula for some beautiful lake views and a welcome breeze coming off the water. All ages and abilities are welcome! \nRace Registration:\nRegistration will be available online through 11:59 a.m. on July 3rd (online registration closes at noon). We will have finishers medals for timed participants\, and special awards for Top 3 Overall Men\, Top 3 Overall Women\, Top 3 Masters (age 40+) Men\, and Top 3 Masters Women. We plan top 3 medals in 10-year age groups. \nThe course starts at Batesville Community Center and Aquatics and finishes at Riverside Park. DESCRIPTION:Come out and race a crit like none other on Central Arkansas’ newest high speed karting course courtesy of Shift Little Rock. The course is .7 of a mile of brand-new pavement with 14 turns\, plenty of room for passing\, and a long straight for those high watt sprints! Come early to pre-ride the course and dial in those handling skills before the main event. Men and women will start together within their race categories but will have separate podiums. Cash prizes for the A race podium sponsored by Spokes Little Rock(prizes increase with every ten registered racers)\, B race prizes sponsored by Trek Little Rock\, and C race prizes sponsored by Arkansas Cycle & Fitness. Prime prizes for A\,B\,&C races sponsored by Trek\, Angry Dave’s\, AC&F\, Muk-off\, Tifosi Optics\, Hand-up Gloves\, Blue Sail Coffee\, Lost 40 brewery\, and Diamond Bear brewery.  It’s going to be hot \, but there will be free cold beer for racers courtesy of Flyway brewery! BBinfinite has supplied ceramic pulley sets for series winners so be sure to keep racing to stack those points! Each race registration enters you for a raffle for prizes from Hyperice as well!
