DESCRIPTION:Come out and race a crit like none other on Central Arkansas’ newest high speed karting course. The course is .7 of a mile of smooth pavement with 14 turns\, plenty of room for passing\, and a long straight for those high watt final sprints! Come early to pre-ride the course and dial in those handling skills before the main event. \nCash prizes for the A race podium sponsored by Spokes Little Rock\, podium prizes sponsored by Trek Little Rock. Prime prizes for A\,B\,&C races sponsored by Trek Little Rock\, Arkansas Cycle & Fitness\, Tifosi Optics\, Hand-up Gloves\, Blue Sail Coffee\, Dumondetech lubricants and others. \nWe have also partnered with Trek Little Rock this year to raffle off a signed Mads Pederson World Champ jersey\, bring three non-perishable canned goods for each entry\, unlimited entries!!! All canned food will be donated to the Vilonia Food Pantry to support the community that helps welcome our racing!

SUMMARY:The Big (Trail) Run Presented by Brooks
DESCRIPTION:On June 3rd\, all Fleet Feet locations will celebrate 50 years of running with The Big Run\, a nationwide event coinciding with Global Running Day. We will be running on one of the “funnest” surfaces to run on:  TRAIL! Now is the time to venture out and try something new for you. We will be holding our run at War Memorial Golf Course Park\, a relatively grassy course with almost no rocks and roots. That makes this race the perfect adventure for your first trail run. Think Cross Country. Bring your kids to run this fun run! They may just all in love with XC\, if they haven’t already. \nIf you ask most people in Little Rock where they run\, a large majority will say\, “The River Trail.” This trail that we love so much is one of the many parks and trails maintained by Little Rock Parks and Rec. 100% of the proceeds of The Big (Trail) Run go to Little Rock Parks and Rec. We want this fun run to be one of the biggest 5Kish trail runs around. Come show your appreciation and run\, walk or a little of both on the grass and asphalt of War Memorial Golf Course. \nThe Big Run is open to runners/walkers of all levels and abilities.
