FROM PINE BLUFF OR LITTLE ROCK\, TAKE THE NEW HWY 167  FROM I-530 PASSING SHERIDAN AND THEN EAST ON HWY 46 1 MILE TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER.  BE VERY\, VERY\, CAREFUL CROSSING THE BYPASS ON THE ARKY\, GOING OUT OF SHERIDAN AND RETURNING. The 53rd annual Joe Weber Arky 100 has four ride options: 25\, 50\, 62\, and the famed 100 mile course. There is no 50 gravel route in2024. All routes are on low traffic roads through Grant and Dallas Counties. We have long sleeve cotton poly shirts. Sheridan is at the intersection of US 270 and 167\, 31 miles south of Little Rock. The Community Center is on Hwy 46 S\, 1 mile southwest of town. . (follow signs for the Community Center at 1511 S. Rose St. or Grant County Museum just before it.) From LR or Pine Bluff\, you can take the new 167 bypass and exit at Hwy. 46 and go east\, back toward town about 1 mile.  Route Maps can be printed in advance in the Forum at arkansasbicycleclub.org \nBicycle helmets are required.  The 50\, 62\, 100 rides begin at 8:30 a.m. The gravel riders will go out right after the main ride\, in the same direction (toward town). The twenty-fiver milers will start at 8:40 after the long riders and are welcome to start by 10:00 a.m. The course closes at 3:30 p.m. with riders on their own afterwards. DESCRIPTION:This year’s event is limited to the first 100 riders to ensure that we provide the best experience for every single rider. \nNOTE FOR LICK FORK METRIC CENTURY (62-MILE) GRAVEL RIDE: We will not be able to post signs along the entire route\, so you will need to be able to download the route to your bike computer for directions. If you do not have that capability\, please do NOT register for this particular route. We will have signs along the 30- and 50-mile routes\, and there is some overlap of the courses\, but the roads that are specific to the metric century gravel ride will not be marked. \nNOTE FOR LONGER RIDES (road or gravel): If you want to start early\, you are welcome to do so. DESCRIPTION:In our 4th year\, the Hare Mountain Trail Races have a 100 mile point-to-point from Haw Creek Falls Recreation Area to Shores Lake Recreation Area on Friday at 10am the 23rd\, a 50 mile\, 50k and 10k out-and-back starting and finishing at Shores Lake Recreation Area on Saturdaythe 24th\, a 25k loop on the Shores Lake/White Rock loop and an Ascent up the East side of White Rock\, also on the 24th. All distances are on the Ozark Highlands Trail and spurs. \nYou can camp at Shores Lake and grab a hot shower. Lots of food and fellowship at the pavilion. And\, if you gravel bike\, bring it along because some of the best anywhere is here.\nPart of the proceeds go to the OHTA for maintaining the trail\, Johnson County SAR\, Franklin County SAR and Arkansas Alliance of Bloodhound Specialists.
