SUMMARY:Fayetteville Ramble Ride
DESCRIPTION:2023 Fayetteville Ramble \nExplore NWA with us on our first Ramble Ride in Arkansas. \nThe Fayetteville Ramble is produced in connection with Experience Fayetteville. This Ramble travels 227 miles with just under 21\,000 feet of climbing. \nDaily miles and climbing on this ride: \n\nDay 1: 59 mi. / 4\,624 ft.\nDay 2: 64 mi. / 5\,359 ft.\nDay 3: 55 mi. / 5\,490 ft.\nDay 4: 49 mi. / 5\,011 ft.\n\nGiddy up. \nWe’re excited to explore North West Arkansas\, with its thick tree-covered routes and punchy climbs. What Arkansas lacks in terms of the elevations of Colorado and Utah\, it more than makes up for it with its short and steep leg punchers \nThis ride begins in Fayetteville\, Arkansas.  \nRamble Rides are an experience you won’t soon forget. Four days of fantastic riding and three nights of camping with friends. One amazing time. \n\nA Ramble Ride is a catered and supported event.\nDiscounted lodging will be available the night BEFORE departure. Start locations typically have hotel accommodations if preferred (not included). We provide secure parking for vehicles.\nAll meals\, drinks\, and snacks are provided the morning of departure through arrival back to our start location.\nRoute support staff varies with group size but typically four to five staff\, including our lunch stop. Camp staff generally is an additional three to four staff.\nRiders are allowed an 80L camp bag for gear and clothing. We carry your bag to camps.\nWe will supply GPS files to riders. Routes are marked\, but GPS capability is recommended.\n\nA Ramble Ride experience is $900 for four days of riding.

SUMMARY:18th Annual War Eagle Trail Running Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Hobbs War Eagle Trail Running Festival began back in 2006 as a 10 mile trail race with a couple dozen participants. During the first few years the event was known as the Hobbs Tail Twister benefiting the Rogers Lions Club. We are grateful for the continued support from our runners and are proud of having donated more than $100\,000 to the Rogers Lions Club and the Friends of Hobbs. Each year we strive to make it just a little better than the year before. The trails at Hobbs are among the most “runnable” in NW Arkansas. Not too technical or steep. Perfect for first time trail racers or veterans wanting to cover the trails as fast as possible. We love Hobbs\, love our event and love our runners. We encourage you to come out and join us for some fun at Hobbs SP.

SUMMARY:Arkansas Backyard Ultra Championship
DESCRIPTION:Arkansas Backyard Ultra Experience\nThe 2nd Annual Arkansas Backyard Ultra Championship will take place at the Historic Big Springs Park in Cotter\, Arkansas. The flat & scenic out-and-back route follows an old railroad bed along the White River and there’s a Natural Spring to re-invigorate your beaten body after the race.  Food will be provided every 6 hours at the “One More Yard Cafe” and a menu will be announced prior to the event so you know what to expect. There will also be water and electrolyte coolers available throughout the race at the starting area but all other energy/food support is provided by the runner. Each runner will have room for a chair and a small bag/cooler by the corral. Runner spots by the corral are not first come\, first gets. Once a runner times out\, or decides they will not continue\, they will ceremoniously bang the massive gong announcing they’re done and remove their chair and belongings from the starting corral area; allowing other runners to move closer. \nThe beauty of the backyard format is that it ‘smooths’ the advantages that age\, gender\, and speed oftentimes play in running events and rewards to a higher degree the runner with mental toughness and grit. There will be ONE winner; everyone else gets the gong and DNF. Let’s get Arkansas on the Backyard map as a competitive destination race by putting up some big miles. As Laz often says\, “It only takes two to tango”
