SUMMARY:Harvest Fest 5k and 2K Glow Run!
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the October night in beautiful Russ Vegas! Participants can set a personal best time on our exactly 5k open course all while shining throughout the night! Kids (And those of us not wanting to run a full 5k) can participate in our 2k Run. Come get glowed up with provided paint and glow jewelry. 2k will begin at 7:00 p.m. and 5k will begin at 7:45 p.m. \nCome early to the festivities of our Harvest Fest as there is a free live band playing from 4:00 to 6:30. Afterwards\, stick around and eat some delicious food and dessert knowing you earned it! \nRegistration fee includes t-shirt and participation medal! Overall Male/Female Runner and Overall Male/Female Walker winners in the 5k will receive Six free entries into the St. John Harvest Fest Cash Giveaway! There are 3 drawings: 1st prize – $2\,500\, 2nd prize – $1\,000\, 3rd prize – $500! There is no redraw on repeat winners\, which opens the possibility of our race winners to walk away with a total of $4\,000 cash!!!!! \nFor the Kids 2k\, Age group Boy and Girl winners will receive five free tickets to use at Harvest Fest Food and Game booths! \nPre-registrations online are guaranteed a race shirt and medal prior to closing on 10/9 @ Midnight. DESCRIPTION:Proceeds from the Arky support our annual charity giving\, including McGehee Boys’ and Girl’s Club\, Big Dam Bridge Foundation\, Recycle Bikes for Kids\, Bicycle Advocacy of Central Arkansas\, Bike League\, Adventure Cycling Association\, and others. \nIMPORTANT: THE NEW HWY 167\, 4 LANE\, DIVIDED BYPASS IS NOW OPEN. FROM PINE BLUFF OR LITTLE ROCK\, TAKE THE NEW HWY 167  FROM I-530 PASSING SHERIDAN AND THEN EAST ON HWY 46 1 MILE TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER.  BE VERY\, VERY\, CAREFUL CROSSING THE BYPASS ON THE ARKY\, GOING OUT OF SHERIDAN AND RETURNING. The 53rd annual Joe Weber Arky 100 has four ride options: 25\, 50\, 62\, and the famed 100 mile course. There is no 50 gravel route in2024. All routes are on low traffic roads through Grant and Dallas Counties. We have long sleeve cotton poly shirts. Sheridan is at the intersection of US 270 and 167\, 31 miles south of Little Rock. The Community Center is on Hwy 46 S\, 1 mile southwest of town. . (follow signs for the Community Center at 1511 S. Rose St. or Grant County Museum just before it.) From LR or Pine Bluff\, you can take the new 167 bypass and exit at Hwy. 46 and go east\, back toward town about 1 mile.  Route Maps can be printed in advance in the Forum at arkansasbicycleclub.org \nBicycle helmets are required.  The 50\, 62\, 100 rides begin at 8:30 a.m. The gravel riders will go out right after the main ride\, in the same direction (toward town). The twenty-fiver milers will start at 8:40 after the long riders and are welcome to start by 10:00 a.m. The course closes at 3:30 p.m. with riders on their own afterwards. DESCRIPTION:The Morrilton Lions Club is excited to host our annual Light Up the Night Fun Run/Walk 5K event on Saturday\, October 17\, 2025 at The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton campus. Family friendly activities and food will be available around 5:00 PM and our run/walk event will start at 7:30 PM. The goal for this event is to raise funds for our local Lions Club and provide a family-friendly glow-in-the-dark fun run for Morrilton and its surrounding communities during our state’s Fall season. Participating in The Fun Run is a great way to support your community\, and we would love to see you there!
