Not only will you build a solid understanding of what NEEDS to happen\, you’ll also get plenty of reps working through the steps of how it needs to happen\, all in a safe and controlled environment. \nTopics Covered: \nRiders will get plenty of reps on multiple takeoffs/landings and Rich will work through multiple rounds of video so you can see exactly what’s working and what isn’t. \nJUMP PROGRESSION Session: Ground School and Skills Park Jumpline \nThis event is all about getting comfortable in the air. That starts with a solid understanding of what it takes to get into the air properly. It’s also critical to get as MANY reps as possible in a controlled environment and that’s what the TRS ground school setting gives you. \nOur Pro level coaches break down the dynamics involved with jumping a bike. Based on over 70 years experience\, they guide you through their real world experience and give you key insight and cues on what to do and also what not to do. \nAfter showcasing the proper technique\, you’ll work through a series of reps and the distance will incrementally increase as your comfort level increases. Analysis and feedback using slow motion video will have you “busting big” in no time. \nThere’s no substitute for experience when it comes to jumping a bike. The only problem is that experience in the right setting can be hard to come by. You’ll get tons reps on our jump lines and receive valuable feedback in the moment.\nRIDERS MUST HAVE:\n– Experience jumping\n– Full suspension bikes with suspension in working order\n– Full safety gear including pads (Full Face helmet not required\, but suggested) \nThis class is intended for riders with jump experience and will move at a specified pace. DESCRIPTION:Rescheduled from April 5th. \nPlease note:  You do NOT need a USA Cycling license to register for this event. \nJune 14\, 2025 we’ll gather together at Hazel Valley Ranch in Fayetteville\, Arkansas and head out for some beautiful miles on NWA gravel.  Expect routes of 45 and 64 miles in the Ozark National Forest.  Afterwards we’ll convene back together at the ranch for Bike Rack Brewery beer and food with stories shared by the fire. \n*If you’re camping Friday and Saturday nights its BYO food and drink those evenings.  Bring a picnic blanket and anything you need to complete your weekend at the ranch. \nThis will be a timed event.  Podiums at the after party! \nTwo routes to choose from: \nHAVE MERCY ON ME:  63.3 miles + 5\,933 ft of elevation gain \nOR \nTHIS AIN’T EASY:  44.52 miles + 3\,538 ft of elevation gain \nPlease note:  The courses will NOT be marked.  You MUST have a GPS computer or directions written down to navigate. \nAid Stations:  The Meteor Cafe\, Rider Up and a couple locals (southern hospitality at its finest!) will head up aid stations on course.  SAG vehicles will be available thanks to 37 North Expeditions and Experience Fayetteville\, however use this as your last resort as its a very slow response time due to the course and location of the event. \nNo cancellations or deferrals but you can transfer or change your category by midnight of June 11th\, 2025. \nYou can change your category or transfer your registration to another rider by following these BikeReg directions:   \nHow to Transfer your Registration to Someone Else \nHow To Change The Category You Registered For \nHow to Remove yourself from a Waitlist \nCamping at the ranch: \nAll proceeds for camping will be given to the ranch owners as our thank you for allowing all of us to enjoy their private property.  Camping fee is for Friday and Saturday nights (no different if you only stay one of those nights.) DESCRIPTION:Please join host the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists for the Annual Battle For Townsends Ridge XC Race at Hobbs State Park! This race is part of the AMBCS series. \nKids Race Free (Juniors 14 & under)! The OORC has waived all Junior registration fees for the race in a continued effort to make mountain biking more accessible for our youth. Parent Note – Kids 13 and under are allowed to get a FREE yearly license or will need to hold a one-day or annual USAC license for insurance/liability and those may be purchased in the pre-registration process for just $15 (one day). Leave the big lugs at home\, because this course is going to be about 1/3rd pavement. Perfect party run to train for upcoming races or just to have a terrible time.\n\nRoughly 20 miles. Unofficially you can end at smokehouse (13 miles) or start at smokehouse (7 miles)\, but this requires you to shuttle.\nBasic aid stations and water drops. DESCRIPTION:Come join us this Independence Day and run the course Runner’s World has called “One of the fastest in the USA!” \nThe Firecracker Fast 5K has been a tradition in Little Rock for families and friends for 49 straight years. This iconic course will take you winding down the heart of Little Rock on Kavanaugh Boulevard\, swing by the Little Rock Zoo and finish around the outside of War Memorial Stadium. \n\nFirecracker trophies will be handed to the first 50 men and first 50 women finishers\nOverall male/female and age divison awards\nMedals for all kids 12 years old and under who complete the race\nCommemorative race shirts guaranteed for pre-registered participants\n\n*The full list and breakdown of awards are listed below \n\n\n\nThis is a point to point race starting at 6150 Kavanaugh Blvd. and finishing on the East side of War Memorial Stadium. \n\nThere are no shuttles to take you to the starting line before the race\nThere are shuttles to take you back to your car after the race

Additionally\, it is an opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate our independence. \nBike Race Registration and Packet Pick up will be the morning of the event beginning at 7:00 am. \n5K Registration and Packet Pick up will be the morning of the event beginning at 7:00 am. \nEach participate registered by midnight 6/4/25 is guaranteed an event shirt. SUMMARY:CRC Firecracker Fun Run 5k & 1-Mile Sparkler
DESCRIPTION:Come join CRC for a fun run on Saturday\, July 5 at 8am at the back parking lot of the Conway Regional Fitness Center on Salem Road. We have a ~5k route (see link below) we will be doing as a group along the trail behind the fitness center. We are also going to do a 1-Mile Sparkler Run this year\, so be sure to bring the entire family for a fun morning. \n5k Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3101551894825041526 \nADDITIONAL INFO: \n1) This is a “fun run.” It is not a timed event. We will\, however\, have refreshments and awards for those that register for the event on RunSignUp. All participants will receive a finisher award.\n(Please note: we will not ship. You will have to pick up at a date/location TBD.) The first male and first female “winners” of the 5k will also a free CRC membership. \nRegistration is FREE to all Conway Running Club members\, so be sure to become a member before registering! (See membership cost and perks below.) 12 and under\, $10 for 5k & $5 for 1miler. 100% Member discount and age based discounts will be automatically applied at checkout. YOU MUST USE SAME EMAIL TO REGISTER FOR RACE AS USED FOR CLUB MEMBERSHIP. \n2) We will have a wave start with the 5k starting at 8am and the 1-mile starting ~5 minutes after. Please arrive early enough to check-in for the event (we will be giving you a wristband to denote which race you are running). \n3) This is an OPEN course. The 1-mile course will be on the trail with a turnaround point halfway. We ask that you please try to run on the right side of the trail as to not impede those who are returning to the finish. While the majority of the 5k is along the trail\, there is a small portion that goes into a neighborhood. It is your responsibility to obey all traffic laws and be aware of your surroundings. Please run opposing vehicular traffic whenever possible. \n4) We will have the portion of the 5k course that goes into the neighborhood marked with some cones so you hopefully will know when to turn. Still\, please check out the course map prior to the run if you can! \n4) We are anticipating a nice turn out for this event\, and we are excited! We hope you can make it and meet other runners/walkers! \n5) While we love our four-legged friends\, we ask that you abstain from bringing them to this event in case there are runners who are wary of dogs. \n6) Strollers and dogs will be allowed\, but we ask that you start at the back of the pack! \n7) WARNING: There are no bathrooms readily available at the start/finish line of this event. There are bathrooms at the Fitness Center\, which you will need to ask permission to use\, and there are also bathrooms across the street at the McDonald’s. There are also bathrooms along the 5k route: one bathroom roughly halfway at Gatling Park and a Port-a-Potty at the Veteran’s Memorial Park. \nAn annual individual membership to the Conway Running Club is only $15 for the year for an individual and $30 for a family. If after 30 minutes the lightning has not subsided\, we will have to cancel the event (but we will still pass out the medals to everyone who registered). There is a possibility that a large rainstorm prior to the event could block off access to the northern part of the trail (under the Prince Street bridge). In that case\, we will have the 5k runners use the 1-mile turn around to make 3 down and back loops.
