For every item you donate\, you’ll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win some great prizes. SUMMARY:Black Friday Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join Saline River Canoe\, Arkansas Watertrails Partnership\, and ACC BOATR for the 14th Annual Black Friday Cleanup! Details may change\, but what we are thinking at this time is that we will once again try to have a “downriver” opportunity for those who would like that\, which will most likely be a float from Lyle Park to the Saline River Crossing led by the famous (infamous?) “Chicago Bob” Tyler\, and then a land-based crew that will hit two areas – the flood debris from a former homeless camp near the Interstate 30 crossing\, and the area near the Saline River Crossing\, including a spot known to be subject to illegal dumping.\n\n\n\nSuitable attire for the land-based crew will be any outdoor clothing you are comfortable in\, sturdy shoes\, muck boots\, or hiking boots\, and work gloves. If you have any trash pickers\, you might want to bring them. Bags and “specialty tools” like shovels and saws will be available.\n\n\n\nThe downriver trip will most likely be from Lyle Park to the newly refurbished bridge at the Saline River Crossing. Water level is at 53 cfs on 11/13\, which would mean one or two wades might occur\, but there are several days with rain in the forecast\, so anything is possible\, and it will likely be better. Distance is 3.6 miles\, so this crew should be able to join the Land-Based Crew for the afternoon hot dogs. Boats will be available\, or you can bring your own. Shuttle will be provided. You need to have your own “temperature-appropriate” river clothing. That could be a drysuit\, a wetsuit\, or just a dry bag with a change of warm clothes\, as long as you’ve got some level of experience boating in cooler temperatures with whatever setup you choose.\n\n\n\nForecast (updated 11/13): High of 60 degrees\, 20% chance of rain. (Check back for updates)\n\n\n\nNote: We are not creating an “Event” page due to Facebook restrictions on editing Event details as needed\, but feel free to share this post with others. Just let us know in the comments if you think you might be able to join\, and we will try to not run out of hot dogs and/or burgers!

DESCRIPTION:Location\nSunset Lake\, Benton   (see directions &  and parking info below) \n Start Times\nThe 24-hour run will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday\, November 29.\nThe 6 and 12-hour runs will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday\, November 30. \nCheck-in will start 45 minutes before the start time of the event you are running. \nCourse \nThe course will follow a one-mile paved loop around Sunset Lake\n(The certification has expired but the certified distance was 1.015 miles and the course is unchanged.)\nThere will be lighting on part of the trail loop after dark\nbut it is recommended that the 24-hour runners bring a flashlight or headlamp\nunless they are comfortable running/walking in the dark. We will change directions periodically except possibly during the 6-hour race. \nEntry Fee\nNone –  Donations will be gladly accepted to help offset costs which include $290 pavilion rental plus food and drink. The race takes place on the Hot Springs Greenway\, starting and ending at the Transportation Depot. Participants will receive a finisher’s medal to commemorate the day! This year our swag will be long sleeved t-shirts for youth participants and windbreakers for adult participants. The inventory is limited though\, so be sure to register early! Helmets are required to be worn on course during official event times and we highly suggest a full-face helmet\, knee pads\, and elbow pads. \nTEMPERATURE – In late November\, the temperature in Bentonville typically ranges from 39°F to 53°F and is rarely below 25°F or above 68°F. \nWATER & SNACKS – While hydration will be available at select locations on course\, riders are encouraged to plan to carry at least 50-60 ounces of water and enough snacks to sustain themselves under strenuous exercise. \nNICE TO HAVES – Bug spray\, sunscreen\, spare tubes\, pump or CO2\, plugs\, patches and other parts. \nDOGS – Dogs are allowed but are required to be on a leash at all times. No exceptions. \nTRASH – If you pack it in\, pack it out. We are guests. Please follow all event sustainability and recycling requests. \nRACE DAY MEAL – A post-race meal will be provided to racers and volunteers on Race Days only. Redeemable meal tickets will be provided at the Registration & Timing tent. When possible\, additional food trucks and other resources will be made available on-site for fans\, family and friends. \nWAIVER – All participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to competing in the Arkansas Enduro Series. \nREFUND POLICY – Arkansas Enduro Series events are rain or shine\, and refunds will not be issued except under extreme circumstances. You will ride 76 miles and cover 8\,000 feet of vertical gain over remote\, demanding and unforgettable terrain. Unforgettable partly because of relentless climbing but more so because it might be the most beautiful place you’ll ever pedal your bike. \n\n\nWhat It’s Not…\n\n\n\nThis is not a race and it is not a pampered ride. And it’s definitely not flat. We have a safety-first mentality and have coordinated with local EMS providers in case of emergency\, but we will have limited ability to provide on-course services beyond food\, water\, and medical. Your bike and in particular your brake pads\, MUST be in excellent condition. We will have very limited ability to provide sag support so ride within yourself\, stay hydrated\, and plan to finish the day under your own power.

The annual “WANGO TANGO” endurance race\, a loud and rowdy 4-hour ENDURANCE mountain bike race/trail run on the City Lake trail system in Siloam Springs Arkansas! \nYou read that right\, this year the Wango Tango will again include a 5k and 10k trail run on the hidden gem of the Siloam City Lake trails set to take place before the start of the 4-hour mountain bike endurance race. All of this awesomeness is set to take place this year on Saturday\, November 15th\, 2025! \nIn a partnership with Siloam Springs Parks & Recreation\, the Borderline Ozark Off-Road Cyclists are excited to again bring mountain bike racing and trail running to western Benton County! \nAlong the same vein as the popular ‘Beast of Burden’ event\, the Wango Tango features 4-hours of solo and team relay mountain bike racing as well as trail running on beginner and intermediate trails! \nThe trail run will start at 11 AM and all runners will be off of the trails before the start of the mountain bike endurance race. To add to the mountain bike challenge\, a 3 pm start for the endurance race means the sun will set 2 hours into the mountain bike race and competitors will be racing in the dark to finish. \nThis will be an electronically timed race. \nMountain Bike Award Categories include Solo Male\, Solo Male Junior\, Solo Female\, Solo Female Junior\, 4 Man Relay\, 4 Woman Relay\, 4 Person Co-Ed (any combination of male and female)\, 2 Person Male\, 2 Person Female\, 2 Person Co-Ed (1 male and 1 female)\, and 4 Person Junior co-ed (Can be any combination of male or female Junior racers aged 13-18)\, E-Bike solo male\, and E-bike solo female. Only class 1 E-bikes will be allowed to compete. \nTrail Run Award Categories will include top male and female overall finishers\, as well as awards for top age category finishers. \nCome smash it out solo or with your best compadres as the Wango Tango caters to all skill levels. The race is spectator friendly and friendly heckling is encouraged. \nRegistration for the mountain bike endurance race is ONLY $50/racer (Juniors are just $30)\, $40 for the 10k trail run and $30 for the 5k trail run. Under 18 must have a parent or guardians’ signature to compete. \nProceeds from the event benefit the Borderline chapter of the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists and volunteer trail advocacy in Western Benton and Washington Counties. \nCity Lake is located just north of Siloam Springs\, Arkansas. From downtown head north on Mt. Olive Street and then turn right onto Dawn Hill Road. Follow signs for parking. \nOnly volunteers will be allowed to park at the trailhead/pit area. All participants must park in designated parking areas and either ride to the trailhead/pit area or drop off their equipment before parking. Bike racks will be provided in the pit.

SUMMARY:Creek Trail Crusher
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Northeast Arkansas’ newest ultra\, the Creek Trail Crusher! The Crusher has 3 races designed to test your endurance and will. 6\, 12\, and 24 hour races will begin at 7:30 am on November 15th at Rotary Park in Paragould\, AR. The race route begins at Rotary Park and proceeds to the 8 Mile Creek Trail\, the entire route is completely paved with no street crossings. All Races will be last participant standing events\, meaning if a race has no participants complete the entire time allotted for their race\, once only one participant remains the race ends\, and the last participant standing is declared the winner. If multiple participants reach the final cycle in their respective race the first to complete the cycle will be declared the winner. \nRunners will be required to complete a 4.167 mile out and back cycle within 59 minutes and 59 seconds. A new cycle starts at half past every hour. Early and late starts are not permitted. If a runner has not returned from the previous cycle or is not at the start line when the new cycle begins\, they will be disqualified. If medical aid is required on the course the runner will be disqualified. Runners are permitted to have teams/ nutrition/ hydration/ aid available in the designated area provided at the start/finish line. Hydration packs and fuel are allowed on the course. Lunch and dinner will be provided for participants at the start/finish line. \nWe are honored to annouce proceeds from the 2025 Creek Trail Crusher will be directed to support the Paragould Fire Department.
