You may retrieve your bag immediately upon finishing\, get warm\, and enjoy food\, music\, and fellowship. \nEarly Start \nAn early start of 5:00 am will be allowed for those expecting to take between six and eight hours. If you did not indicate so with your online registration\, email your request to info@3bridgesmarathon.com with the email subject EARLY START.   You may not take the early start option unless you have registered online with your normal race registration or received an email confirmation of your post-registration email request. Runners starting early without having registered to do so are subject to disqualification. If you are unsure\, confirm at packet pickup that you are on the registered early start list. \nSee the Parking instructions for early starters. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification and ban from future 3 Bridges events. \nPhotographs \nRace photographs will be taken by Marvin Winston and his team from Run Bike Swim Photos. Signs will indicate upcoming photographers. You will be contacted after the race with proofs and purchase information. Photos can be ordered at www.runbikeswimphotos.com. \nPost-Race Activities \nPost-race finish line activities will include the awards ceremony at 11:00 a.m. and food and beverages for runners\, friends\, and family. \nRace Results \nRace results will be provided immediately by Garner Timing Services on your smart phone through the RunSignUp.com Results app in your app store. You will not find another course on trails this beautiful that is also this accessible. The guide includes directions\, descriptions\, and approximate mile marks for numerous viewing areas. Your friends and family may see you many times\, often twice at one stop in a short period. Better yet\, have your friends and family volunteer for an early or late shift and cheer the other half of the day! \nThe course is almost entirely on the Arkansas River Trail system. However\, in a few short stretches\, roads with vehicular access converge with sections of the trail. Although we know you will be very mindful of traffic and there will be police officers at these locations\, please remind your friends and family that if they drive near the course to be courteous and careful. \nTime Limit \nThe race begins at 7:00 a.m. There is a 6 hour time limit for the regular start. There is an early start option at 5:00 a.m. for runners planning to take between 6 and 8 hours. There is an 8 hour time limit for the early start. See details under Early Start above. Runners expecting to take longer than six hours are asked to take the early start option or may be removed from the course. \nTravel \nThere is no host hotel and no hotel within walking distance to the parking lots. Race shuttles will not offer pickups from hotels. Prior transportation plans are encouraged. \nParticipants staying at local hotels may have a cab bring them to the race parking lot\, and then ride the shuttle to the starting line. Cabs will only be allowed to deliver participants to the starting line for the Early Start. Instructing your cab to drive down River Mountain Road for the regular start may result in disqualification and ban from future 3 Bridges events. \nVolunteers \nIt takes a tremendous number of volunteers to carry out a marathon. See Volunteers for clubs and organizations involved. Every major running club in central Arkansas has committed members and resources to make the 3 Bridges Marathon possible. If you would like to volunteer write info@3bridgesmarathon.com. \nWaiver \nThe marathon waiver is included with your online registration. Specifically note the Event Policies tab regarding cancellations\, registration refunds\, deferral option\, waiting list\, transfers\, and inclement weather. Online signature of the waiver upon registration acknowledges your understanding and adherence to all event policies. \nThank you for complying with all runner instructions.

SUMMARY:The Triple C at Woolly Hollow
DESCRIPTION:This is an annual trail race in memory of Curtis Colt Childress\, who was killed in a motorcycle accident on September 26\, 2024.   The race distances are 10\, 4\, and 1 miles through the trails at Woolly Hollow State Park.  All proceeds will go to the Cabugcayan Mission/Biliran Church of Christ in the Philippines\, which is where Curtis’s wife\, Ruby\, and daughter\, Curtlyn\, live.  Donations are appreciated! \nThe Triple C takes place on the first Saturday of December because Curtis was born on December 6th.  Curtis loved children and never met a stranger in his life\, so the 1 mile fun run/walk is set up for children or anyone else who doesn’t want to run or just wants a short trail experience. \nThe 10 miles course takes place along a short paved section at the back of the park and follows the Enders Fault Mountain Bike Trail\, ending at the top of the dirt access road in the Enders Fault gravel parking lot.  The 4 miles course begins on the paved road by the pavilion\, follows the Huckleberry Trail through the woods and along a short section of the main paved road\, runs by the falls\, around the lake\, up the dirt access road\, and finishes in the Enders Fault gravel parking lot.  The 1 mile course begins on pavement just past the pavilion\, runs through the gravel Enders Fault parking lot\, down the dirt access road with a turnaround back to the finish in the gravel parking lot. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers of the 10 and 4 miles courses. \nThis race is great for beginner trail runners\, those more experienced runners who want to hit a PR on shorter courses\, anyone looking to get in a solid training race for something bigger\, and anyone else who just wants to support our cause by spending some time in nature and getting awesome swag\, to boot! We hope to see everyone out there with us\, can’t wait to meet new faces\, and are so excited to be honoring the memory of Curtis by doing something he loved in the Park that was an integral part of his life. \nWoolly Hollow is a leave no trace state park.  Trash bags will be available at aid stations\, and there will be two\, one on the 10 miler around 4.5 miles and on the 4 miler before the waterfall. Please stash your trash! \nIN-PERSON REGISTRATIONS AFTER 11/8/26 WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT.  VIRTUAL REGISTRATIONS AFTER 11/8/26 WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT OR MEDAL.  Virtual packets will be mailed ay the latest after the final completion date of 12/31/26.

SUMMARY:One Hour Track Run
DESCRIPTION:The first One Hour Track Run was held in 1983 as part of Grand Prix II. This run took place in Russellville at the Arkansas Tech University track. The One Hour Track Run was eliminated after one year as the Grand Prix was trimmed to a core of four races for most of the 1980’s. Later incarnations of a One Hour Track Run were located in El Dorado and later Camden\, Arkansas\, and were a Grand Prix staple in the 1990’s. After 1998\, the One Hour Track Run ceased to be run until the Long Distance Running Committee decided to revive it as part of the 25th Running of the Grand Prix in 2006. Fittingly\, the One Hour Track Run returned to Russellville for Grand Prix XXV\, and was held at the Russellville High School Track. \nThe course is a standard\, 400 meter track. Very Flat! Aid stations every 1/4 mile! \nONE HOUR TRACK RUN WILL BE AT Russellville High School\, Russellville\,AR 72802 \nENHANCED SECURITY FROM RPD WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE RACE AND IN THE PARKING LOTS

SUMMARY:22nd Annual Buffalo Headwaters Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Buffalo Headwaters Challenge presented by Adventure Subaru is a three-day\, all-inclusive\, “off the grid” mountain bike festival. It includes 5 meals\, libations\, primitive tent and RV camping\, live music\, and amazing trails\, highlighted by the annual “Challenge” ride on Saturday\, January 30th\, 2027. If weather becomes an issue we will reschedule event to a later date but will not be offering refunds. Thank you for your understanding. \nAll attendees will receive a pair of custom event socks. \nComplete your challenge and receive your patch once you check back in. \nWe will have post ride yoga on Saturday. \nOur friends with Ozark Gravel Cyclists will be leading and amazing gravel ride on Sunday. \n-A limited number of primitive RV spots are available for an additional $25.00.
