SUMMARY:OZ Mile Swim
DESCRIPTION:OZ Mile Swim is for ALL swimmers! Elite\, experienced\, novice\, beginner – ALL! \nThe OZ Mile Swim is an open water race that offers participants and spectators a full weekend in Northwest Arkansas with festivities centered around swimming.  This will be a great weekend in the heart of the Ozark on beautiful Beaver Lake with fun for the entire family! \nBonnie Adams\, founder of SWIM OZ\, created this race because she wanted to showcase the natural beauty of the Ozark region and offer an opportunity for her clients and team to be able to compete locally. There are so many amazing things that this area offers athletes\, and it is time to put us on the map for swimming events as well. There is a very eclectic swimming population here in Northwest Arkansas. A lot of former Division 1 swimmers\, Ironman triathletes\, recreational swimmers\, high school state champions\, para-athletes\, and special Olympic athletes all reside here. The 1-mile swim offers ALL of them the opportunity to participate. Adams had this to say regarding the event\, “The diversity of our participants is awesome – so glad we have a grass roots start to an inclusive event. When we sat down to create this event\, we wanted something for everyone. We also wanted this to be a race that the spectators would want to attend.”   The course is a triangle shape with complete viewing for the spectators to see their swimmer the entire race. \nWe want to build community around swimming.

SUMMARY:Fayetteville Ultra Circuit
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Fayetteville Ultra Circuit (FUC) – a gritty\, soulful\, and rugged bikepacking race weaving its way through the heart of Northwest Arkansas and the ancient ridgelines of the Arkansas Ozarks. Designed for the self-reliant\, the curious\, and the trail-hungry\, this race is not just about speed – it’s about connecting forgotten singletrack\, pushing your limits\, and discovering the deep roots of trail riding in the South. \nThe FUC is more than a race – it’s part of the Ride Your Damn Bike Festival\, a multi-day celebration of cycling\, community\, and craft based in downtown Fayetteville\, Arkansas. The festival includes: \n\nMaker’s Market & Expo – Featuring local frame-builders\, artisans\, gear-makers\, and food vendors.\nWorkshops – Covering bikepacking\, trail advocacy\, mechanics\, and more.\nCommunity Overnighter – A no-drop campout to reconnect with the land and fellow riders.\nLocal Group Rides & Shakedowns – From mellow cruises to mini-missions.\nUltra Race – Multiple distance options for self-supported adventure.\nDirt Crits – Glorious\, rowdy racing at the Agri Park.\n\nWhether you’re racing or just rolling by\, the festival creates a welcoming hub for the bike-curious\, seasoned dirtbags\, and everyone in between. \nA portion of entry fee proceeds goes to Bikepacking Roots\, a nonprofit organization with a mission that supports and advances bikepacking\, the growth of a diverse bikepacking community\, and access to and the conservation of the landscapes and public lands through which we ride. \nhttps://bikepackingroots.org/ \nThe Route:\nThe FUC stitches together a hand-picked patchwork of legendary old-school singletrack – some beloved\, some all but forgotten – linked by an unpredictable mix of surfaces. Riders can expect: \n\nRaw\, technical singletrack that’s been etched into Arkansas dirt for decades.\nUnmaintained dirt roads full of chunky surprises.\nFlowing gravel\, from loose and fast to deeply washboarded.\nQuiet paved backroads that offer short respites and stunning views.\n\nThis is a self-supported race – riders are responsible for their own food\, water\, navigation\, and repairs. The route will challenge your endurance\, bike handling\, and route-finding skills. \nExpect solitude. Expect joy. Expect to curse that one trail climb and then tell everyone it was your favorite part. \nFUC 400 – The Full Circuit\n400+ Miles | Max Difficulty | Full Send \nThis is the main event – the full embodiment of the Fayetteville Ultra Circuit and a proper test of your endurance\, preparation\, and resilience. The FUC 400 dives deep into the wildest corners of the Ozarks\, tying together nearly every notable trail system in Northwest Arkansas and venturing east into rugged\, remote terrain where resupplies are few\, and the riding is relentlessly steep and unforgiving. \nOnce you leave Fayetteville\, you’ll traverse a network of legendary and lesser-known singletrack systems\, linked together by an ever-changing surface mix: gravel\, chunky backroads\, forgotten forest roads\, and stretches of quiet pavement. The terrain becomes more intense as you reach Newton and Madison Counties\, where steep grades\, eroded surfaces\, and massive elevation swings will test your limits. \nTrail Systems Included: \n\nKessler Mountain\nLake Wedington\nLincoln Lake\nDevil’s Den\nLake Fort Smith\nBuffalo Headwaters\nHorseshoe Canyon\nBOC Ponca Downhill\nMount Sequoyah\n\nThis route is a self-supported gauntlet\, traversing Arkansas’s most legendary and remote riding zones. Expect long stretches with no services\, limited cell coverage\, and the kind of solitude that makes you question your decisions – and then fall in love with them. \nNot for the unprepared. This is the FUC in its most unrelenting form. \nFUC 200 – The Punchy Middle Child\n~200 Miles | High Difficulty | No Easy Way Out \nDon’t let the smaller number fool you – the FUC 200 is a beast. This route mirrors the FUC 400 mile-for-mile until around mile 155\, hitting nearly every major trail system in the first two-thirds of the long course. You’ll taste the same chunky Ozark roads\, climb the same steep grades\, and rip through the same historic singletrack – but at Lake Fort Smith\, the route diverges and begins a return arc toward Fayetteville. \nThe ride back isn’t a coast – expect a mix of challenging gravel and paved climbs\, meandering through the lesser-known corridors south of Fayetteville. And just when you think you’re in the clear\, the route links back up with the 400-mile course for a final push through the Mount Sequoyah trails\, ensuring this ride ends as tough as it started. \nTrail Systems Included: \n\nKessler Mountain\nLake Wedington\nLincoln Lake\nDevil’s Den\nLake Fort Smith\nMount Sequoyah\n\nWhat’s not included: Buffalo Headwaters\, Horseshoe Canyon\, and the BOC Ponca Downhill – but you’ll hardly miss them\, given the challenge level of what’s already packed in. \nThis is the perfect choice for strong riders who want a true bikepacking challenge but prefer a more contained route with more reliable resupply options and less remote exposure. \nFUC 100 – The Fast and Dirty\n~100 Miles | Moderate Difficulty | Big Day Out \nThe FUC 100 is the gateway to the Ultra Circuit – a still-tough but more accessible option that delivers a big day of backcountry riding\, ideal for riders short on time or looking for a gravel-bike friendly adventure with fewer technical demands. \nThe route borrows much of its DNA from the 200-mile course\, sticking to scenic backroads\, rolling gravel\, and punchy climbs. It avoids the most remote and rugged trail systems\, skips Lake Fort Smith\, and bypasses nearly all of the technical singletrack\, making it more approachable for those running lighter rigs or hoping to finish in one day. \nWhat to expect: \n\nSteady gravel climbs and fast descents\nSmooth backroads with Ozark charm\nMinimal hike-a-bike\nBeautiful views and tight-knit community vibes\n\nThis is a great route for experienced gravel riders dipping their toes into bikepacking\, or anyone looking to test their legs and gear on a serious but achievable adventure. \nAll Routes Are:\n\nSelf-Supported – You are responsible for all logistics.\nGPS-Navigated – No markings\, no shortcuts.\nUnrelentingly Beautiful – And sometimes just plain unrelenting.\n\nChoose your adventure – but remember: no version of the FUC is easy. Only one question remains: How much FUC can you handle? \nRecommended Bike Setup:\nDue to the wide variety of riding surfaces on the Fayetteville Ultra Circuit – including smooth pavement\, chunky gravel\, unmaintained roads\, and technical singletrack – we strongly recommend a mountain bike with at least 2.2” tires for most participants\, especially those tackling the 200 or 400 mile routes. A hardtail MTB or rigid setup will offer the best balance of efficiency and capability. \nFor riders choosing the 100 mile option\, a gravel bike with 40mm tires can get the job done\, but be prepared for a few sections that may require dismounting and hike-a-bike. A more forgiving 50mm tire is highly recommended for added comfort and control on rougher segments. Regardless of your setup\, durable tires with good sidewall protection and a reliable tubeless system are key. \nOther Notes:\nCheck In:\nParticipants will check in and receive their pre race bag in downtown Fayetteville during the Ride Your Damn Bike Festival expo on Friday 9/19/2025. Specific location will be provided soon. \nStart Time:\nAll three distance options will start at 8am on Saturday 9/20/2025. \nTracking Fee:\nParticipants will be responsible for an additional tracking fee charged by Trackleaders. All riders will need to either provide their own satellite tracking device or rent one. Tracker rental fee – $85. Tracking fee/own device – $25. More details will be provided via participant emails. \nLinks to Routes:\nFUC 400 – The Full Circuit \nFUC 200 – The Punchy Middle Child \nFUC 100 – The Fast and Dirty

All participants must sign this waver prior to racing.\nThe Advanced Men and Women categories will have a minimum combined prize purse of $600 – if we can secure more funding prior to the event\, we may even have some cash primes or a higher prize purse. All other categories will receive awards for the top three men and women finishers in each category.\n\nAbout the Course\nNestled inside an eight-acre plot of land dedicated to agricultural research is a network of enclosed dirt and gravel roads\, and on September 20\, a portion of these roads will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind race course. The AgriCrit’s 1.6-mile clockwise loop features a fast and flowing downhill on the first half of the course\, a long uphill drag on the back half\, and a flat and technical start/finish stretch. With 49 feet of elevation per lap\, an open terrain exposed to the wind\, and a few skill-testing turns\, the course is anything but stale. \nHow to Get to the Venue:\n\nIn a Vehicle – Take Garland Ave. and turn onto Cassatt St. until you reach the venue. Vehicles will be directed to nearby parking lots north of the course. When leaving the venue\, you can only exit the same way you came in.\nOn Bike/By Foot – The venue can be easily and safely accessed from the Razorback Greenway. Turn onto N Morrill Ave. from the Greenway and keep going until you reach a gate on your right that opens into the Agri Park. (Please be mindful of a separate event that will be taking place along Morrill Ave. and the pavilion area until 2:00 PM.) After entering the gates\, take the first gravel road on your left (N Hillian Ave.) until you reach the venue.\n\nAfter-Party Details\nFollowing the conclusion of the final race (around 7:00 PM)\, everyone is invited to join us for a post-race celebration at Fossil Cove\, a local Fayetteville brewery about a stone’s throw from the Agri Park. A delicious pizza food truck\, Wicked Wood Fired Pizza\, is also located at the Cove and stays open until 9:00 PM on Saturdays. Fossil Cove also has plenty of non-alcoholic beverages as well. If you ride to the race\, we will be leading a group ride to Fossil Cove when the racing concludes. Sunset begins around 7:00 PM\, so lights are encouraged. \nAbout the Ride Your Damn Bike Festival\nThe AgriCrit is part of the Ride Your Damn Bike Festival\, a multi-day celebration of cycling\, community\, and craft based in downtown Fayetteville\, Arkansas. The festival includes: \n\nMaker’s Market & Expo – Featuring local frame-builders\, artisans\, gear-makers\, and food vendors.\nWorkshops – Covering bikepacking \, trail advocacy\, mechanics\, and more.\nCommunity Overnighter – A no-drop campout to reconnect with the land and fellow riders.\nLocal Group Rides & Shakedowns – From mellow cruises to mini-missions\nUltra Race – Multiple discipline options for self-supported adventure.\nDirt Crits – Glorious\, rowdy racing at the Agri Park.\n\nAbout Bike Club NWA\nBike Club was founded in an effort to reinvigorate the Fayetteville\, Arkansas road cycling scene following the pandemic and to reunite a fragmented Northwest Arkansas cycling community. Our initial approach was simple: extend an open invitation to anyone who would join us for a Sunday pilgrimage through the Ozarks\, and then share our experiences on social media to reach cyclists outside of our immediate network. Since then\, Bike Club has grown to become something much bigger than we expected\, and in 2025 we decided to formalize the competitive side of the club with the founding of the Bike Club Bandits\, a team of friends who race together across Arkansas and sometimes beyond. \nAs Bike Club continues to grow\, however\, our mission remains the same: to bring people together through cycling. SUMMARY:Dirt Movement - Hillfolk Hootenanny
DESCRIPTION:The Hillfolk Hootenanny is a weekend-long festival that celebrates our community of dirt. \nOur goal with Dirt Movement events is to create courses and experiences that are shared as much as possible by all participants. It doesn’t matter if you’re running 3 miles or riding 50 miles. We are one community with one purpose—get outside and move. \nA festival celebration of dirt and community. Our goal with Dirt Movement events is to create courses and experiences that are shared\, as much as possible\, for all participants. It doesn’t matter if you’re running 3 miles or riding 50 miles. We are one community with one purpose – get outside and move. \nWhat else do we all have in common? We love to eat (a lot)\, drink (beer or buch)\, and be merry (rock out to local music). \nFormat\nThe Hillfolk Hootenanny is a two-day festival with rides\, runs\, food\, music\, creek swims\, and community! We have built the weekend so that you have multiple opportunities to participate in rides and runs while not missing an opportunity to sit on a log and listen to some live music with a cold beverage in hand. You can choose to participate in one\, two\, or three of the cycling and running events throughout the weekend. You also have the option to skip the bike and runs and just camp out\, listen to music\, and have some great food! \nUnpaved Runs\nThis isn’t your classic race! On Saturday morning\, we host a run on various unpaved surfaces over a number of distances. There may be creek crossings and an obstacle or two in your way\, so be ready. Anything is possible! \nGravel Rides\nThere will be a 15-mile shake-out ride on Saturday afternoon to allow riders to loosen up before taking on Sunday’s epic routes. And we don’t use the word epic lightly – just look at those elevation profiles. Enjoy the climb the locals have lovingly named “Booger Hill”. She’s a beaut. \nArtist Point Climb\nThe Artist Point Climb is one of the unique bike events for the weekend. This 13-mile paved climb takes you up 1\,500 feet to an amazing view of the Ozark Mountains and Lake Fort Smith. This event is part of The Chester Challenge. Participation in the Artist Point Climb is included with registering for any of Sunday’s gravel rides. \nThe Chester Challenge\nThe Chester Challenge is the pinnacle event of the weekend. Anyone who completes a run\, the Artist Point climb\, and a route on Sunday’s gravel day will receive this prestigious award.

SUMMARY:Arkansas Traveller 100
DESCRIPTION:The Arkansas Traveller is one of the oldest 100 miles races there is\, already having 33 runnings under our belt(buckle). What makes the AT100 so unique among the many ultras today is the combination of volunteer support from many in the running community and beyond\, the beautiful scenery of the Ouachita Trail and Forest Service roads\, and the sneaky-hard runnable hills that will challenge you from beginning to end. This race is considered by many to be a great first 100 for anyone looking to test themselves at the premier ultra distance. But\, every year we are filled with past Traveller finishers that come back again and again to this incredible race.

SUMMARY:SHAM Mini Series of Cyclocross
DESCRIPTION:Come play bikes with us! \nBut…What is cyclocross anyway?! \nWeellll…it’s kinda like if a road bike and a mountain bike and a cross country running event all got mashed together! \nCyclocross is the best spectator friendly cycling event there is. ‘Cross races are held on short 1.5 to 2 mile laps that will mostly consist of grass and sometimes mud but can include sand\, artificial barriers\, hills\, off camber sections\, forced runs\, and just about any dumb thing we can find in the park to make the race more fun to do but also to watch! We strive to make the race fun for everyone that comes out; from beginners and youth racers to the most experienced elite racers in Arkansas but especially to spectators! SHAM endeavors to make as much of the race course visible from as many spots along the way as possible\, but especially at the start/finish line so you can cheer on  your friends and family and all the other racers out for a fun day in the sun…or mud…or maybe snow…but almost definitely sand and grass! \nSHAM Mini Series of Cyclocross \nDates: October 4th\, 8th and 11th\nVenue: War Memorial Park\, 5511 W Markham St\, Little Rock\, AR 72205 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDATE AND TIME \n\n\nCATEGORY \n\n\nFIELD \n\n\nDURATION \n\n\nENTRY \n\n\nAWARDS \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/4/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 5 PM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 5 PM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 6 PM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/8/25 6 PM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 10 AM \n\n\nCat 4/Novice Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n40 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Men \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n10/11/25 11 AM \n\n\nCat 1/2/3/4 Women \n\n\n50 \n\n\n50 min \n\n\n$30 prereg\, $35 race day \n\n\nSeries Winner Prizes \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeries Points \n\n\nFirst through Fifth \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n6\, 4\, 3\, 2\, 1 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDirections: Exit 630 onto University going North.
