SUMMARY:Spring River Rambler
DESCRIPTION:Come have some fun with us April 11th\, 2026 in Hardy\, Arkansas\, along the beautiful Spring River! We wanted to create something fun and inexpensive for people to come do in our little corner of the Ozarks. \nThe kid’s races are intended to be a great entry into the sport of cycling – no drama\, just try to pedal faster than anyone else on the line! Virtually any kind of bikes are welcome… the park is flat and all of the kids course(s) will be on pavement and grass. \nThe kids will race for prizes in the park\, then the adults will do their mostly gravel road rides just for fun! Kid’s Race Categories: 4 and Under\, 5 to 7\, 8 to 10\, and 11 to 12. \n13 to 15 year olds can participate in the 18 Mile adult fun ride\, and 16 to 17 year olds can participate in the 18 or 32 Mile adult fun rides. \nAdult entries include an event t-shirt\, a goodie/swag bag\, a momento for finishing the ride\, and drinks/snacks. \nKid’s entries are only for their races and drinks/snacks; we thought we would allow parents to buy their kids shirts separately as a means to keep entries down. We will have prizes for the Top 3 in each age group for the kid’s races. \nBe sure to follow us on Facebook for updates as we get closer to the big day!

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 35th running of the Ouachita Trail 50 Endurance Run! \nWe are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.  All donations and profits for this event will go to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. \nThe OT50 was started by a group of early Arkansas ultra runners who came together\, drew from their various ultra race experiences\, and committed to putting on a quality fifty miler in Arkansas. As the oldest enduring Arkansas Ultra Running Association event\, that intent lives on. The 50 mile and 50 km runs feature a picturesque climb over Pinnacle Mountain followed by an out-and-back traversing the rolling hills along the north shore of beautiful Lake Maumelle. Get ready for scenic\, rocky\, single-track as you tour Pinnacle Mountain State Park and the eastern part of the 222 mile Ouachita National Recreation Trail. \nProceeds benefit Pinnacle Mountain State Park \nGeneral Information: \nLocation: Maumelle Park\, Little Rock\, Arkansas\, Pavilion # 8 \nStarting Time: 6:00 AM for 50 Mile and 50 Km. Runners must check in at the pavilion a minimum of 30 minutes before the start time. \nPackets: Race packets may be picked up on Friday\, April 17th from 3pm-6pm at Fleet Feet Little Rock – 11525 Cantrell Rd #102\, Little Rock\, AR or at Pavilion #8 on race morning.  FOR SAFETY REASONS\, BIBS & TIMING CHIPS WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL RACE MORNING. \nCourse Description: Starting and ending with two miles of pavement between Maumelle Park and the eastern Ouachita Trail terminus at Pinnacle Mountain State Park\, the course features a picturesque climb over and around Pinnacle Mountain followed by an out-and-back along the shore of Lake Maumelle on the Ouachita National Recreation Trail. Most of the Ouachita Trail is a scenic\, rocky\, single-track foot path. The trail is permanently marked with blue blazes. Turns are marked with two blue blazes. Additional markers (blue and white striped ribbon) will also mark the course. The Pinnacle Mountain trails and loop are utilized on the “out” portion only. 50K participants will be diverted off of the OT around the 16 mile point and will follow a different approach to the Northshore Aid Station. The course involves several highway crossings\, and there will likely be no traffic control. Please be responsible and be careful! NOTE: If conditions are wet\, the course may be rerouted to avoid the top of Pinnacle Mountain. This is due to safety concerns and is mandated by the state park. \nAid: Eleven staffed aid stations for 50-mile; seven for 50Km. SUMMARY:OUTLAST
DESCRIPTION:OUTLAST is a 6-hour trail endurance challenge where runners complete a 5K every hour\, on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to stay in the event. If you finish early\, you rest until the next round. Miss a lap\, and you’re out. \nComplete all six rounds\, and you OUTLAST. \nThis isn’t just about speed — it’s about pacing\, discipline\, and mental grit. Whether you’re trying to survive all six or win your division\, the challenge is the same: show up each hour\, push your limits\, and stay in it. \nEach course is trail-based\, with natural terrain\, elevation\, and unpredictable conditions. You’ll have time between rounds to recover\, refuel\, and refocus — but not much. \n  \nWhat You Earn: \n4 laps = Bronze “Grit Earned” leather patch\n5 laps = Silver “Survivor” leather patch\n6 laps = Premium “OUTLAST” wooden medal\n\nAll participants receive an OUTLAST Tee & Sticker. \nTop male and female with the fastest combined 5K times at each event win the 1st Place OUTLAST award. \nFinishers are ranked on the national leaderboard—and the fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6-hour events will be crowned National Champion and take home $1\,000. \nThe 1st Place Male and Female 6-hour champions from each city will earn a spot in the Outlast Championship\, where they’ll compete against the best of the best at the end of the Tour\, and the 1st place male and female winners take home $1000 each. (This is separate from the national leaderboard prize money.) \nBy the end of the tour\, the top 100 best times nationally will be invited to also compete in the Outlast Championship. \n  \nFrequently Asked Questions: \nDo I have to run all 6 laps?\nNope. Run as many as you can. If you complete 4 or 5\, you’ll still earn a patch. Only those who finish all 6 get the OUTLAST medal and leaderboard ranking. \nWhat happens if I don’t finish a lap in time?\nYou’re out. The next lap starts at the top of the next hour\, and only those who completed the last lap on time can continue. \nHow is the race timed?\nEach 5K is timed individually. If you complete all 6\, your combined time counts toward the local win and national leaderboard. \nAre these trail races or road?\nEvery OUTLAST race is on trail terrain — dirt\, rocks\, roots\, and elevation. Sometimes some pavement and gravel. \nCan I walk?\nYes\, as long as you finish the 5K within the hour. But some courses are rugged\, and time can sneak up on you. \nAre there aid stations?\nYes. There will be water\, basic hydration\, and snacks at the basecamp/loop start. This is a cupless event — bring your own bottle or hydration system. \nWhat should I bring?\nTrail shoes\, hydration system\, layers (weather dependent)\, fuel between laps\, and grit. \nCan I setup a tent?\nAbsolutely\, bring your own aid station/tent setup. \nIs OUTLAST for beginners?\nYes — if you’re mentally tough. You don’t need to be fast\, just consistent and ready to suffer a little. \nHow do I win?\nIf you finish all 6 laps and have the fastest combined time\, you win your division (male/female). Winners are also added to the national leaderboard for a shot at the $1\,000 national prize & title.

SUMMARY:Delta Grind
DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the unique culture and beauty of the Arkansas Delta\, runners can expect a challenging and scenic course that showcases the beauty of the Delta region. Live music will be playing throughout the day\, and delicious food from local vendors served after the run.  Cupless event. BYO bottle/hydration pack recommended. Water jugs on course. \nRoutes –> ridewithgps.com \nLocation –> Kelly Courtyard\, 415 Cherry St\, Helena\, AR 72342 \n  \n“The first bit of the course runs through the town\, Past the Delta Cultural Center\, where the King Biscuit Blues radio show continues its daily broadcast\, just as it has for over 80 years. Up the brick path of the levee walk overlooking the port of Helena. Looking down on the ruins of old warehouses and wholesalers as the bricks turn to gravel and you head out of town. \n  \nLeaving the levee and entering the national forest\, the road moves further from the river. On the west side\, Crowley’s Ridge rises steeply. As geologic features go\, this one is pretty new. It was formed about 20\,000 years ago as windborne glacial loess accumulated here. Helena is the southern end of the ridge\, which extends about 200 miles north to Missouri and rises 250 feet above the otherwise pancake-flat region. \n  \nThe riverside to the east is a dense tangle of thick\, flat woods\, interrupted occasionally by cypress swamp. At first glance\, much of the scenery in the forest was not unlike the typical green tunnel you find elsewhere in the region\, but as the eyes began to soften and adjust\, differences appeared. \n  \nThe trees that make the consistent canopy are considerably taller than most you find in the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains. The timber industry was a main source of wealth in the Delta in the 19th century\, but most forests were cleared and turned to cotton\, rice\, and\, later\, soy fields. Most of the existing Arkansas mills are in the hilly parts of the state\, and those forests are more likely to be interspersed with recent cuts. \n  \nThe road itself was softer and sandier than non-Delta gravel roads\, making for an ideal running surface. \n  \nThere were more cool drinks waiting back at the finish\, with mocktails and cold local Arkansas and Mississippi beer set up in a brick-lined picnic area that had once been a building. The live blues music and barbeque kept 100% of the participants there for hours after the race ended. The liveliness of the scene on that block that afternoon gave hints of what had been and could be again in Helena. \n  \nAchieving that vibrancy and highlighting the culture and natural beauty of the town and surrounding areas is very much the intention of the organizers of the Delta Dash run and accompanying Delta Grind ride. The events are organized primarily by the nonprofit StudioDrift\, which aims to revitalize the Delta through placemaking and adventure tourism.”  Read the rest of Brian Hurley’s recap here: www.irunfar.com/recovery-run-running-as-revitalization-in-the-arkansas-delta \n  \n“The perfect mash-up of fun and folly\, all to support the creation of the Crowley’s Ridge Gravel Trail\,” said Ammen Jordan\, Director of studioDRIFT. “Helena is the perfect basecamp for a weekend of adventure.” \nCupless event. BYO bottle/hydration pack recommended. Water jugs on course. \n  \n27K tickets include lunch and music. Delta Grind is a family-friendly event that is open to the public.
