SUMMARY:DeGray Lake Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:One of the original multisport festivals in Arkansas…the DeGray Lake Triathlon will feature two triathlon distances (olympic and sprint)\, a duathlon (sprint)\, aquabike (olympic) and an open water swim (olympic). There will be a team category for the olympic triathlon. \nDeGray Lake is a reservoir on the Caddo River in Arkansas. This beautiful lake and surrounding Ouachita mountains near Hot Springs and Little Rock is an Arkansas resort state park. \n\nOlympic Triathlon: 1\,500 meter swim\, 40 kilometer bike\, 10 kilometer run.  Individuals and teams.\nSprint Triathlon: 500 yard swim\, 13.5 mile bike\, 5K run.  Individuals only\nSprint Duathlon: Run 1: 2 miles\, Bike: 13.5 miles  Run 2:  3.1 miles\nAquabike (swim and bike only): 1\,500 meter swim\, 42 kilometer bike.  Individuals only\nOpen Water Swim: 1\,500 meter swim\n\nRace Venue Information: \n\nDeGray Lake\,  AR located just outside of Caddo Valley\n2.5 miles North on Hwy 7 from Interstate 30\, exit 78.  Turn left onto Skyline Drive.\nSpillway Trail Head (The Spillway Dam Area) is rougly 8/10ths of a mile west of the intersection of Skyline Dr and Hwy 7.\nGoogle map coordinates – https://goo.gl/maps/Uz7c5ZuonT9pucF18\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEntry Fees Priced With Custom Socks\n\nEntry Fees are priced with custom socks \, but a participant has the option to select no socks and SAVE $5. Participant can also upgrade to a ringspun cotton tshirt for $10\, or upgrade fabric to a full sublimated technical wicking fabric shirt for $20. If an item is ordered and the size is not available then a refund will be issued at packet pickup. \nRace Apparel Options and Styles: \n\nNO Socks Option – Save $5\nCustom socks – No charge\nRingspun Cotton T-shirt ($10 upgrade fee) – unisex sizing\nFully Sublimated Technical T-shirt ($20 upgrade fee) – Both men and women specific sizing. SUMMARY:Big Dam Bridge 100
DESCRIPTION:The Big Dam Bridge 100 is an annual event in central Arkansas that celebrates the “Big Dam Bridge” over the Arkansas River. The 4226-foot bridge is the longest bridge built for pedestrian and bicycle traffic in North America. It connects over 40 miles of scenic riverside trails between Little Rock and North Little Rock. It also serves as the backbone for connecting over 70\,000 acres of various city\, county\, state & federal parks. \nThe BDB 100 offers several routes ranging between 15 and 105 miles\, with beautiful mountain and river scenery\, as well as a few challenging hills on the longer routes. The event provides participants with well-marked courses\, fun aid stations with foods and liquids\, great volunteer support\, event t-shirt\, a unique finisher medal\, post-ride food and drinks along with a unique finish-line experience.
