The event will also feature a day of rides and experiences in \nBentonville\, Arkansas\, a thriving city that has emerged in recent years as a leading cycling destination. \nWhere: All meetings\, events and rides will take place in the heart of Bentonville\, Arkansas. \nWhen: The Summit will take place on October 16-17 with rides and tours on the 18th. Additionally\, this \nevent will be timed to occur during Big Sugar Classic presented by Life Time with events taking place \nprior to and following the Summit. \nHistory: While this will be the first Cycling Experience Summit\, many of the attendees have been \ninvolved in the Bicycle Tour Network and the National Bicycle Tourism Conference that took place \nannually prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic. SUMMARY:All Bodies on Bikes NW Arkansas Bike Camping Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a bike camping overnighter! Starting near downtown Bentonville ( exact location coming soon)\, we’ll ride 6 miles on gravel to Bike Camp Pea Ridge. We’ll camp there overnight\, returning to our starting location in the morning. \nCampers need to bring all of their own camping gear\, however\, we have some equipment available to loan if needed. Campers are encouraged to carry their own gear\, however a support vehicle will be available for any gear that isn’t able to be carried on your bicycle. \nAll Bodies on Bikes will provide the route\, light refreshments and snacks at camp\, campfire wood and s’mores supplies. Campers should bring their own dinner\, breakfast\, and snacks. A store is available within biking distance to camp\, and pizza will be ordered for those who are interested in a pizza dinner. \nPlease register in advance here. \n$10 Registration fee per person covers campsite\, firewood & s’mores \nStarting Location: Valley View School\, Price Coffee Road\, Bentonville\, AR \nRideWithGPS Route \n  \nFAQ: \nCan I bring my kids? \nKids are welcome\, however\, all riders need to independently be able to ride 6 miles each way on gravel roads. \nWhat kind of bike should I ride? \nA bike that is capable of riding on gravel roads (Sugar Creek is our main road) and carrying your gear. A gravel bike will work best\, but a mountain bike or hybrid with wide tires will also work. Please get in touch if you have specific questions about your bike. \nWhat should I pack? \nWe like this packing list from Swift Industries for a bike overnighter. SUMMARY:Chasin Payson MTB Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Chasin Payson is a Mountain Bike challenge race. Competitors will start at 2 PM on Saturday\, October 26th\, and race as long as possible until 6 PM at Coler on a 3-mile course. Ride your pace and chase the leader. E-bikes are welcome and Juniors (16+) can participate. It’s a Red Bull event so there is a min. age requirement. You do not have to be fit or an athlete. If you can ride a MTB and want to test yourself\, come join us. The goal is to ride as many laps as Payson (Red Bull Athlete). Are you up for the challenge? Want to test your ability and chase Payson McElveen down?
