SUMMARY:2024 Ride To Defeat ALS-NWA
DESCRIPTION:The ALS Association’s Ride to Defeat ALS is a community fundraising event that creates the hope and action needed to create a world without this devastating disease. Each ride brings together a diverse group of individuals and teams dedicated to taking the challenge for those who bravely fight ALS and creates hope for a future without it.\n\nWe are so excited to host our first Ride to Defeat ALS The Ozarks! Northwest Arkansas’s natural beauty is unparalleled and helps to create a friendly and fun biking environment! We hope to utilize this event to raise essential funding for people living with ALS while also providing an exciting community event that people of all ages and abilities can enjoy!\n\nOur Ride will start in Downtown Bentonville at 302 NE B Street and will offer four route options. Riders will enjoy fully supported routes with rest stops\, support vehicles ready to provide a lift\, course marshals along the course\, and a finish line celebration with delicious food and a beer garden.\n\nRiders under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Riders under 17 may receive a discount code for registration and are not required to fundraise\, although it is highly encouraged. DESCRIPTION:The Bentonville Enduro highlights the best of Bentonville\, Arkansas\, where an extensive network of nearly 70 miles of world-class trails and multiple trail systems creates a proper canvas for two days of rowdy enduro racing in the Mountain Biking Capital of the World™. \nIn addition to classic venues like Coler Mountain Bike Preserve and Slaughter Pen\, this year’s Bentonville Enduro heavily features the hand-built trails of Hand Cut Hollow – a rewarding backcountry riding experience peppered with rock gardens and gravity lines and a fitting finale to the 2024 Arkansas Enduro Series. \nRegistration opens Saturday\, June 15th at 8am with participation based on a first-come\, first-served basis. To create a rewarding enduro race experience\, organizers reserve the right to limit overall event participation. Each participant entry includes: \nTwo-day competition with up to 14 stages and 30-35 total miles of rider-designed racing with dedicated pre-race practice times the day prior to the race. \nSufficiently marked courses with maps emailed to participants the week of the event. \nLively mid-race aid stations with access to professional neutral mechanics and medical support. \nProfessional event timing with accuracy to the 1000th of a second and instant results. \nComplimentary post-race meal and cold beverages (21+ for adult beverages\, ID required) in a family-friendly festival setting.

It will be EPIC! \nRace categories: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBalance Bike Ages 2-3 \n\n\nBalance Bike Ages 4-6 \n\n\nPedal Bike Ages 3-4 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPedal Bike Ages 5-6\, Girls \n\n\nPedal Bike Ages 5-6\, Boys \n\n\nPedal Bike Ages 7-8\, Girls \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPedal Bike Ages 7-8\, Boys \n\n\nPedal Bike Ages 9-10\, Girls \n\n\nPedal Bike Ages 9-10\, Boys \n\n\nEach racer will get a numbered race plate with a timing chip…because they are LEGIT…and a totally rad medal. The top three times in each category will stand on a podium and collect their prize! \nFestivities will be in the Price Coffee field directly across from the Valley View School House. Registration is required for all racers. Space for the race is limited. Race fee is $20.
