SUMMARY:Cave City Holiday Parade 2 Mile
DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION – This is a 2 mile race through town that starts at the Cave City Middle School and runs down Highway 167 to the Stop light on Center where it turns right and finishes on the scenic backstreets of Cave City through Matlock Road. Highway 167 will be a closed course featuring a huge crowd that will be set for the Christmas Parade as our runners lead the way for the annual Christmas Parade. After the race there will be an after party that all the runners are invited to at the Cave City Middle School. \nRace entry fees include a T-Shirt and runners in the following age groups will receive an award. Top 3 male and Top 3 female overall. Age Group Categories (Top 3 Male and Female in each age group) 0-9; 10-14; 15-19; 20 – 29; 30 – 39; 40 – 49; 50 – 59; 60 – 69; 70+ \nPARKING: \nParking is allowed at the Elementary School\, In the lots between the Elementary and Middle School\, the Softball/Baseball Gravel Lot or the Lot by the Tennis Courts off Terrie Street. \nBENEFICIARY\nThis race will support the Cave City High School Senior Class. The proceeds will help to raise funds for the 2026 Graduation. \nLOCATION\nThe race starts and finishes at the Cave City Middle School. DESCRIPTION:Join us for this 5K and fun run to benefit the Sharp County Sheriff’s Foundation and The CALL in Sharp and Independence Counties.  Make plans to dress as your favorite superhero and come out to help break the stigma surrounding SUD/AUD as well as show support for individuals and families impacted by foster care in our community. \nStart/Finish:\nThe race will begin at 9 AM.\nThe race starts and finishes in the Cave City Park. \nFree Kids Fun Run following 5K (approximately 10:00 AM) \nPacket Pick Up:\nRace day packet pickup will be at Cave City Park starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday\, October 11. \nCost:  $30\nRace day registration will be available from 8:00-8:30 AM. \nParking:\nAvailable on the grassy lot across from the Cave City Park. \nAdverse Weather Policy:\nWe expect our events to happen rain or shine. No one\, including the Race Director\, wants to make changes to an event on race day. However\, the safety of our participants is of paramount concern. SUMMARY:Cave City Easter Run
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 1/2 marathon\, 10k\, 5k\, or Virtual!  We have a distance for everyone! All races start and finish at Cave City Park at 9 am.  OK Plus Timing Service will be there to provide chip timing. \nAbout the course: The first 3/4 mile is pavement before it turns to a roller coaster of scenic gravel roads.  The 5k and 10k are out-and-back routes.  The 1/2 marathon goes out\, and you will do a “lollipop” style out and back.  Aid stations will be along the course.  This course is difficult and challenging with rolling hills. \nUnique finisher awards and the top 3 Male/Female awards will be given for each race.  The deadline to guarantee a t-shirt and finisher medal will be March 28\, 2025.  Post-race snacks will be provided for participants at the finish line. \nAll funds received through registration will cover race expenses and benefit the Cave City Police Department. With the support of race participants and local sponsors\, for the last four years\, Cave City Easter Run has donated $16\,000 to the Cave City Police Department. \nVirtual race participants will receive a race swag bag\, shirt\, and finisher medal! \nEarly packet pickup will be at the Cave City Park on Friday\, April 18th\, 4 pm-6 pm. \nPacket Pickup and day of registration will be 7-8:45 am on 4/19/25.  \nBelow is a list of area hotels that are a short 15-minute drive to Cave City for anyone who wants to get extra sleep that morning.  Don’t forget to mention that you are staying for the Cave City Easter Run. \nHotels: Hampton Inn\, Holiday Inn Express\, Comfort Suites\, Ramada Inn\, The Royal on Main \nBe sure to like and follow the Cave City Easter Run Facebook Page for updates! \nNO REFUNDS—This is a fundraiser\, and no refunds will be given. The race will continue no matter the weather unless lightning is in the area. Then\, we may delay the start and proceed from there.

DESCRIPTION:This race will support the Cave City High School Cross Country and Track and Field Teams. The teams will be hosting this year’s Melon Dash 5K Run.\nLOCATION\nThe race starts and finishes at the Cave City Park.\nCOURSE MAP\nCheck the Link here to view the course: 2023 Race Map\nENTRY FEES\n$20 race fee includes race entry\, T-shirt (for racers registered by July 15 after which they will be first come; first serve until gone)\,a slice of Cave City watermelon\, and a ticket to the Kiwani’s pancake breakfast.  Race day registration will begin at 6:00 AM. Join us for the 1/2 marathon\, 10k\, or 5k!.  All races start and finish at the Cave City Park at 9 am.  Mac’s Race Timing Service will there to provide chip timing. \nAbout the course: The first 3/4 mile is pavement before it turns to a roller coaster of scenic gravel roads.  The 5k and 10k are out and back routes.  The 1/2 marathon goes out and you will do a “lollipop” style out and back.  Aid stations will be along the course.  This course is difficulty and challenging with rolling hills. \nUnique finisher awards and top 3 Male/Female awards will be given for each race.  Deadline to guarantee a t-shirt and finisher medal will be March 24\, 2023.  Post race snacks will be provided for participants at the finish line.  All funds received through registration will be used to cover race expenses and benefit the Cave City Police Department. \nPacket Pickup and day of registration will be 7-8:45 am on 4/8/2023.  \n *Please pick up your packet or have someone pick it up for you. If you cannot\, please contact us to arrange a pick up.  We will not ship your packet to you.* \nBelow is a list of area hotels that are a short 15 minute drive to Cave City for anyone that wants to get some extra sleep that morning.  Don’t forget to mention that you are staying for the Cave City Easter Run. \nHotels: Hampton Inn\, Holiday Inn Express\, Comfort Suites\, Ramada Inn\, The Royal on Main \nBe sure to like and follow the Cave City Easter Run Facebook Page to for updates! \nNO REFUNDS-This is a fundraiser and no refunds will be given.
