DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Ozark Enduro Lite Series produced by Arkansas Race Solutions. Our mission is to create a fun\, welcoming\, all-inclusive race environment. Bringing “Gravity to All”\, our races will be focused on beginner to intermediate level enduro with a mix of fun and feisty designed to challenge more advanced riders for speed while allowing new to enduro or less advanced riders to test the waters of gravity sports. This is a 3 race summer series consisting of 6-8 segments depending on the venue. The course will be set up for Saturday morning pre-ride with race days being Sunday morning. The goal is to finish up racing in time to beat the heat. On race day\, you can expect tunes being played by OZ Underground and food trucks on site for refueling. Don’t want to race but still want to be a part of race day? We rely heavily on volunteers and can place you in the middle of the action marshaling the race segments. \nCurious about Enduro Mountain Bike Racing? Not sure how an Enduro race works? Let us help you get your feet wet with the Ozark Enduro LITE Series. A short summer series of 3 beginner friendly enduro races. All rider abilities are welcome but the Ozark Enduro Lite Series is aimed at introducing new folks to the awesome sport of Enduro racing. \nWhat is Enduro Racing? Enduro racing is primarily downhill timed segments\, ranging anywhere from just less than a minute per stage to up to 5-6 minutes that may require some pedaling. A typical Ozark Enduro Lite race will consist of 5-7 downhill segments. Your time will start when you enter the top of a segment and will end when you reach the bottom of that segment. There will be connecting routes to transition between each segment that will not be timed. Only the segments are timed. Riders often ride with groups and make new friends while enjoying the trails during the transfers. After completing all the downhill segments\, your total time will be compared with the times of other riders to see how you did. \nWhat Equipment do I need? You will be required to have a fully functional mountain bike with off-road tires and a proper\, certified helmet. Full face helmets are recommended but not mandatory. Other recommended items are gloves\, eye protection\, knee pads\, elbow pads. We also strongly encourage carrying the necessary items for minor bike repair such as tire plugs\, tubes\, CO2\, spare chain links. Not sure what type of bike you need? Nearly any type will work\, hard tail (no rear suspension) or full suspension xc to enduro or trail bikes. \nHow long are the races? There will be aid stations\, however\, it is important to carry enough water and nutrition to last throughout the race. Typical durations will be anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on the course and each rider’s ability. You should be capable of riding 8 to 10 miles and climbing up 1000 feet of NWA green and blue trails. \nHow do I know the course? We will release the course maps on our website and social media for each venue. The courses will be marked with course arrows and signs to help you navigate. In addition you can download the course maps into your GPS device if you have one\, but not required. Since we release the course well in advance of the race you are free to pre ride but the course will not be fully marked until Saturday the day before the race. \nNone of these races would be possible without volunteers. Volunteer help will be needed at every race\, and we would love to make you a part of our event and give you some cool swag. SUMMARY:Ozark Valley Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:OVT Off-Road Triathlon\, Off-Road Duathlon\, Gravel Triathlon and Gravel Duathlon to be held on the same weekend as the oldest road triathlon in NW Arkansas. UPDATE – Gravel and Mtn Bike events both to be held on Saturday\, June 29 at the same time. \nSaturday\, June 29 – OVT Gravel Triathlon\, Gravel Duathlon\, Mtn Bike Triathlon and Mtn Bike Duathlon events.  Both off-road triathlons will have a 1\,000 yard swim. Gravel bike course is 18 miles\, mtn bike course is 12 miles and the triathlon run course is an epic 5 miles. Both the gravel and mtn bike duathlon run courses will consist of a 3 mile Run #1 and 5 mile Run #2 courses. \nSunday\, June 30 – Ozark Valley Triathlon (road events) is hosting the 2024 Arkansas State Championships in the international and sprint distances as well as the Arkansas High School State Championship.  There is a combined Club Championship competition as well.  These are both road triathlon races and there will be a Aquabike\, duathlon and team category (International distance only) in the Ozark Valley Triathlon. \nOVT road events: \n\nSprint Triathlon – 400 yard swim\, 13 mile bike\, 2 mile run (2024 USA Triathlon Arkansas State Championship and High School State Championship)\nInternational Triathlon (individual or teams) – 1\,000 yard swim\, 19 mile bike and a 4 mile run (2024 USA Triathlon Arkansas State Championship)\nAquabike – 1\,000 yard swim\, 19 mile bike\nSprint Duathlon – 2 mile run\, 13 mile bike\, 2 mile run\n\nAll events will be held at Lake Wedington Recreation Area.  Lake Wedington is located 13 miles west of Fayetteville and is one of the most natural settings for a triathlon in the region. Both spectators and participants can enjoy the natural beauty of the area and combined with unique finisher medals\, post-race food\, awards and prizes all make this race one not want to miss. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEntry Fees Priced With A T-Shirt\n\nEntry Fees are priced with a ringspun cotton t-shirt. But\, there is an option to choose no shirt and save $5 or upgrade to a fully sublimated technical fabric shirt for $15. DESCRIPTION:OVT Off-Road Triathlon\, Off-Road Duathlon\, Gravel Triathlon and Gravel Duathlon to be held on the same weekend as the oldest road triathlon in NW Arkansas. UPDATE – Gravel and Mtn Bike events both to be held on Saturday\, June 29 at the same time. \nSaturday\, June 29 – OVT Gravel Triathlon\, Gravel Duathlon\, Mtn Bike Triathlon and Mtn Bike Duathlon events.  Both off-road triathlons will have a 1\,000 yard swim. Gravel bike course is 18 miles\, mtn bike course is 12 miles and the triathlon run course is an epic 5 miles. Both the gravel and mtn bike duathlon run courses will consist of a 3 mile Run #1 and 5 mile Run #2 courses. \nSunday\, June 30 – Ozark Valley Triathlon (road events) is hosting the 2024 Arkansas State Championships in the international and sprint distances as well as the Arkansas High School State Championship.  There is a combined Club Championship competition as well.  These are both road triathlon races and there will be a Aquabike\, duathlon and team category (International distance only) in the Ozark Valley Triathlon. \nOVT road events: \n\nSprint Triathlon – 400 yard swim\, 13 mile bike\, 2 mile run (2024 USA Triathlon Arkansas State Championship and High School State Championship)\nInternational Triathlon (individual or teams) – 1\,000 yard swim\, 19 mile bike and a 4 mile run (2024 USA Triathlon Arkansas State Championship)\nAquabike – 1\,000 yard swim\, 19 mile bike\nSprint Duathlon – 2 mile run\, 13 mile bike\, 2 mile run\n\nAll events will be held at Lake Wedington Recreation Area.  Lake Wedington is located 13 miles west of Fayetteville and is one of the most natural settings for a triathlon in the region. Both spectators and participants can enjoy the natural beauty of the area and combined with unique finisher medals\, post-race food\, awards and prizes all make this race one not want to miss. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEntry Fees Priced With A T-Shirt\n\nEntry Fees are priced with a ringspun cotton t-shirt. But\, there is an option to choose no shirt and save $5 or upgrade to a fully sublimated technical fabric shirt for $15.
