Join us on Sunday\, October 6\, 2024\, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fayetteville Public Library for the Confident Commuting workshop\, hosted by Trailblazers. This informative\, off-bike session will help new and experienced cyclists confidently learn how to navigate roads and pathways. \nParticipants will receive practical tips on choosing the right bike\, essential gear\, road safety\, traffic etiquette\, and local bike laws. The workshop covers everything from basic commuting strategies to understanding key infrastructure like bike lanes and shared roads. No matter your skill level\, this event will ensure you feel safe and prepared for your next bike commute. As a bonus\, all participants will receive free bike lights\, ensuring greater safety and visibility on the road. \nLocation: Ziegler Reception Room\, Fayetteville Public Library\, 401 West Mountain Street. \nCost: Free\, thanks to the generous support of the Walmart Foundation. Race proceeds benefit organizations that meet important community needs\, increase fitness opportunities for the community\, and make Fayetteville and Arkansas a great place to live\, work\, and play. \nThe Spark Foundation is all about encouraging our community to get active and stay active. In keeping with our mission we have eliminated age group awards and instead will award prizes for those who best their Hero Half Marathon finisher time!
