SUMMARY:9/11 Memorial Run
DESCRIPTION:9/11 Memorial Run is to honor the people lost on 9/11/01. Each year we honor a local hero and donate to the charity of their choosing. This year will be in honor of Chief Wesley Adams of the Sedgwick Fire Department and donating to Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial. This will be a non-timed group run with a rolling aid station. Our goal is to start together and finish together. Will start in the parking lot of Tomlison Stadium across for First National Bank Arena at 7am.

SUMMARY:Heart & Sole Half Marathon\, 10K 5K
DESCRIPTION:USTAF certified 13.1\, 10K and 5K courses with a mix of rolling hills and flat areas. The course will be well marked and have lots of volunteers and activity on the course. Police will be present at highly traveled intersections and leading the 13.1 race. There will be water/snack/aide stations all along the courses. Powerade\, water & food will be throughout the course. The half marathon will have a 3 1/2 hour time limit\, which is a 16 minute/mile. BUT THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE A CHANGE…………PARTICIPANTS WILL RUN IT BACKWARDS. No more whining about going up the Alexander Hill!!!! \nPACKET PICK-UP \nWe are encouraging ALL local runners and walkers to take advantage of the Friday drive through packet pickup. \nPacket Picket-Up will be done in the following manner for the 2023 event. \nRunners living in Craighead County must pick up their packer on Friday. Packets must be picked up the day before and will contain everything needed for the race. \nPacket Pick Up will be drive through and participants must stay in their car.
