SUMMARY:Pink's Adult Bike Night
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for Pink’s Adult Bike Night and you’re invited. Please join us on August 8 at 6:30 PM! We’ve got some fun lined up. We will roll out at 7 PM sharp from the Clinton Lot and head to the Old State House for the free Soul Explosion Music Festival\, where one of our biking buddies is a featured DJ. We will stay for about 30 minutes and then head over the Broadway Bridge to Dickey-Stephens Ballpark to enjoy the Travelers game\, food\, and drinks\, and then catch the fireworks at the end. The Ball Park is an ALL cashless facility\, so please don’t forget your cards 💳. We can purchase the cheapest tickets at the gate for $8.00. Also\, be reminded of the clear bag policy at the ballpark. Be sure to bring your bike locks. If you have any “valuables” (speakers\, etc.) attached to your bike\, please leave them behind as you may not be able to bring them inside the park and don’t want them stolen on the outside. \nBike Rental is available for the ride. SUMMARY:Scorchin' Squirrel Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION \nThe Scorching’ Squirrel is a trail race through Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center’s 1200 acres located just 10 miles west of Little Rock.  There are 4 distance options: a 10k (1 loop)\, 11.5 mile (2 loops)\, 15.5 mile (3 loops) or 19.5 mile (4 loops). All distances are approximate.  Each loop passes through 1 full aid station and one water drop.   There will be refreshments at the end with a cook out at the pool.  Please bring stuff to share although Fleet Feet Little Rock and Ferncliff will provide burgers and hot dogs.  We will begin serving food at 10 AM.  No glass containers please.  No pets. \nThis is a great race for heat training and for trying out trail running with the shorter distances.  There is quite a bit of incline throughout the course and a few water crossings in wet weather. \nAll the distances end back at the start of the race\, which is at the Ferncliff pool pavilion.  The pool will be open after the race.  It has a large covered pavilion and runners can cool off and enjoy some food and refreshments.  There are lots of changing stalls. \nAny proceeds from the event will support Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center.  If you’d like to reserve lodging the evening before the event call 501-821-3063 to reserve a room or cabin. \nIt takes about 25 volunteers to do this event right.  Would you like to volunteer and have a great time supporting runners?  If so please fill out this very brief volunteer application:  https://forms.gle/HeqTSnAQR2WghPqn6 \nClick Here to view the approximate route:  https://www.plotaroute.com/route/1404552 \nStrava course map for one loop completed:  https://www.strava.com/activities/5680121722?share_sig=6F664A841628868806&utm_medium=social&utm_source=ios_share \nAll distances begin: 7:00 am with a  6:50 am Mandatory Race Briefing
