Tour de Rock is a well-supported ride with plenty of rest stops and an after-party with music\, great food and beer garden. \nWith help from friends like you\, Tour de Rock has raised more than $2 million for CARTI and provided much needed assistance for CARTI’s patients\, including transportation and lodging assistance\, as well as financial\, emotional and nutritional counseling.

DESCRIPTION:The Live Well 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by Little Rock Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc.\, an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. On Saturday\, June 1\, 2024\, in partnership with the Delta Presents Outreach Foundation\, we will host the 2nd Annual Live Well 5K Run/Walk: A Physical and Mental Health Movement. The Live Well 5K Run/Walk is an opportunity to bring the community together for the purpose of promoting physical and mental health/wellness. Research has shown that running and walking have a positive impact on mental health like better sleep\, stress reliever\, improved self-esteem\, sharper focus\, and improved memory.\nYour support will assist us in our efforts to provide scholarship incentives for high school students interested in furthering their education as well as support overall mental health/wellness in our chapter and community. The Live Well 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly community run/walk for men\, women\, and children. Runners\, joggers\, and walkers are encouraged to come out and enjoy a healthy\, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause. \nCOURSE: \nRACE DISTANCE: 5K (3.1 miles) \nTIME LIMIT:  1 hour and 45 minutes. Any participant still on the course after the time limit is reached will continue with our guidance or security. \nTIMING:  TBD \nRACE BIBS:  \n\nClearly visible on the front of the torso\nUnaltered and unmodified (not folded or wrinkled)\nPinned in all four corners\nUncovered (jackets\, fuel belts\, etc.)\n\nAWARDS: TBD \nEVENT SWAG: \n\nShort-sleeve T-shirt (for those who register by May 5\, 2024)\nFinisher medal\n\nNOTE: Race bibs and event swag are ONLY available for in-person participants at packet pick-up or on race day.
