DESCRIPTION:Get ready for Central Arkansas’ fastest growing cycling event over the last five years – the Young Life River Classic. This event is a fundraiser for Young Life’s Southside youth ministry program that works with teenagers in underserved communities south of I-630. The 2023 ride was our largest to date\, and we’re hoping to keep that momentum going in 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW IN 2024!\nThe 2024 River Classic is now part of the Big Dam Bridge 100 official training program. Through a partnership with the Big Dam Bridge Foundation and Arvest Bank\, participants in the Big Dam Bridge ride will ride the River Classic as a “Dress Rehearsal” for the following week’s BDB100.  Find out more about the training program here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is the River Classic?\n\nA USA Cycling-sanctioned\, fully supported ride with great fun\, food and fellowship\nThis is a fully supported ride\, with easy-to-follow route signs\, rest stops\, and traffic control.\nA ride with three distance options for every level of cyclists\n\n\n\n\n26 miles for beginners or those that just want to cruise\n44 miles for those looking for a weekend challenge\n63-mile route for experienced cyclists

Definitely NOT your average 5K\, the Mud Run is for those with an adventuresome spirit. \nParticipants run\, walk\, skip\, trot and even cavort through our 5K(ish – please refer to helpful hints section for the clarification of “ish”) course\, which winds through the scenic trails of War Memorial Park\, then finish with a spectacular frolic (yes\, style points are given to participants when they enter the pit) through our world-renowned mud pit\, which is filled with that amazing (and organic) Arkansas mud. \nThe point is not to finish fast\, but to finish with style.

DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual Disaster Dash Run/Walk 5k will be Saturday\, Sept. 21\, 2024. The race will begin and end at Murray Park\, Pavilion #2 located at 5900 Rebsamen Park Road\, Little Rock. Race start is 8:30 am. All participants will receive a finisher’s medal\, t-shirt\, goody bag\, and official race time. \nT-shirt Deadline: August 31\, 2024. We will do our best to get everyone a shirt in their size if you register after the deadline!
