SUMMARY:Arkansas Traveller 100
DESCRIPTION:35th Annual Running\nThe Arkansas Traveller is steeped in tradition as one of the oldest 100 mile races in the country\, maintaining its founding philosophy of providing a true ultrarunning experience melded with Southern hospitality. Our course consists of a 17-mile loop followed by an 83-mile out-and-back through the Ouachita Mountains on forest roads\, jeep trails\, and an eight mile section of the Ouachita Trail. 12\,000 cumulative feet of climb. We will have 23 fully stocked and staffed aid stations with the friendliest volunteers and course veterans to help you reach the finish line.  The Traveller is a Western States qualifier. \nThe combination of volunteer and community support\, the beautiful scenery of the Ouachitas\, and the sneaky-hard runnable hills that will challenge you from beginning to end is what makes the AT100 so unique among the many ultras today. \nThis is a great run for first-time 100-milers\, or experienced ultrarunners who enjoy a well-supported event. \n​​What You Get: \nA Race Shirt (*Register by Sept 1st to guarantee your size/style)\nVery Well Stocked and Fully Staffed Aid Stations – approximately every 5 miles\nA Finishers Buckle\nSterling Silver (yes\, real silver) – overall M/F\nColored Enamel – under 24 hours\nBronze – over 24\nWooden engraved plaques for\nOverall M/F\nRunner-Up 2nd place M/F\nMaster M/F\nAge Group Awards -for those who stay for the post race ceremony\nPost Race Breakfast\nPrepared/Served by the William’s Junction Volunteer Fire Department & begins ~5AM Sunday\nSoup and various items for those who drop or finish before 5am\nOnsite EMT and Medical Director\nOur Own Tried and True Timing Team \nOur Motto –  “Good Time Running!”\nRace Director – Stacey Shaver-Matson
