DESCRIPTION:The Arkansas Canoe Club’s School of River Paddling is designed to introduce basic paddling techniques on Class I+ rivers. Contained in these pages is information that should be read by each person registering for the school. \n\n\nWhen:   June 14th-16th\, 2024 \n\n\nWhere:  Gypsy Camp & Canoe on the Illinois River near Siloam Springs\, AR.\n(NOTE: Little to no cellular service at Gypsy Camp.) \n\n\nCost:  You must be a current member of the Arkansas Canoe Club before you can register for the School of River Paddling. ACC Household Membership covers you and two additional members living in your household. If you are not already a member of the ACC\, please visit the Membership section of our Web site. \n\n\nCamping: Included with the event fee and is all day Friday\, Saturday\, and through Sunday. \n\n\nElectric sites are reserved for Instructors and assigned volunteers only. \n\n\nNo reservations are needed for campsites. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration: \n\n\nThe event fee for the School of River Paddling is $125.00 \nRegistration will open at midnight on Monday\, May 6th\, 2024. \nThe following is required to register for the School of River Paddling: \n\n\nCompleted Event Registration and Payment (completed online at this Web site) \n\n\nReceipt of a SIGNED Arkansas Canoe Club Waiver and Release of Liability.   \n\n\nReceipt of a Participant Health Form.
