DESCRIPTION:Held every Thanksgiving morning\, our Turkey Trot for Heroes 5K is an exciting event that garners the full support of local runners\, running organizations\, and our communities. \nIn addition to the traditional 5K run\, we have a Wild Gobbler 5K (a 5K with 5 stations of exercises throughout the route dedicated to Fallen Heroes)\, and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk!  \nWe are proud to partner again this year with Rogers Fraternal Order of Police! Proceeds from the race fund the programs of Sheep Dog Impact Assistance. \nNEW AWARDS! The Wild Gobbler has 1st\, 2nd and 3rd Place for men and women!! \n\nBest Dressed award for the best dressed individual OR group — Please dress in THANKSGIVING COSTUMES (Turkey\, pilgrim\, fall fun\, etc.)\nFounders Favorite chosen by our very own SgtMaj Lance Nutt\n\nSo many new and exciting things\, and YOU can make a difference! Your participation will allow SDIA to help fellow Sheep Dogs Get Off The Couch and reengage in living active\, meaningful and productive lives through our Outdoor Adventure\, Warrior PATHH and Continued Service/Disaster Response programs. \nRun with us in the morning before heading home for pie and turkey!
