DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Annual Rogers\, AR Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k will be held on Saturday\, October 5\, 2024 in celebration of Ostomy Awareness Day. This family friendly event will include lots of fun and laughter\, a kid’s run\, music and celebration so be sure to bring your entire family! All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America\, Inc (UOAA) charity\, a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. Visit www.ostomy.org for more information. \n\nRACE DAY SCHEDULE \n6:30 AM Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-up \n8:00 AM 5k Run/Walk Start \n9:00 AM Vendors and Activities \n9:15 AM Kid’s Fun Run/Dash (TBD) \n9:30 AM Award Ceremony Starts \n\nREGISTER BY SEPT. 6TH AND SAVE $5 AND ALSO BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR A $50 GIFT CARD TO TEXAS DE BRAZIL IN ROGERS!!\nTake advantage of the ‘Early Bird’ Registration Fee of $24.00/$17.50 for the Kids’ Fun Run/Dash\, which includes a unisex adult or youth size T-Shirt and Bib. You’ll also be guaranteed the T-Shirt size you order. After September 6th the Registration Fee will increase by $5.00 and T-Shirt sizes are no longer guaranteed. \n\nRACE COURSE\nThis 5k Fun Walk\, Run or Roll and Kids Fun Run/Dash will be held at The Railyard Bike Park located at 299 E. Cherry Street in downtown Rogers\, Arkansas. The course for this Fun Run will start at the Bike Park and will loop around the paved Lake Atlanta Trails. \nThe exact route map will be included in your registration packets. \n\nPARKING\nParking is available at The Railyard Bike Park or near downtown. \n\nPACKET PICKUP\nPacket pick-up schedules will be posted closer to the date of the event. Same day registration will be available before the start of the run\, which will be $29.00 for adults and $17.50 for the Kid’s run. \n\nPRIZES\nPrizes will be awarded to the top Male and top Female Overall Finishers\, top M/F in each age group\, as well as to the top Male and Female Ostomates. – This could change for each event as well.
