SUMMARY:Chase Race and Paws
DESCRIPTION:Run or walk one or both CHASE RACE events! \nCHASE RACE  \n2-MILE is not only an AR Grand Prix Championship Race but a fun family event. Walkers & slower runners must yield to faster runners on course.  All participants will be directed to right side of course streets. No dogs in this one please!   Course is USATF certified and disposable chip timing with S/F mats provided. \nPAWS RACE 1-Mile event is for participants who want to run or walk with their leashed dog/pet. It is a fun event for dogs/pets of all breeds\, ages and sizes!  The course will be gun timed (no start mat). \nLOCATION: Both events start & finish at Simon Park\, 805 Front Street\, Downtown Conway\, AR. \n  \nOTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: \n1) Best Pet Costume Contest. Judging and winners will be determined during the 1-Mile race. \n2) Local Animal adoption agencies and organizations will have info regarding their rescue as well as pets available for adoption. \n3) Various sponsor booths with give aways and information. \nC o u r s e s: The 2M & PAWS 1M courses are out & back\, flat and fast with excellent traffic control & aid station. An experienced team of organizers will make the event exciting and fun. Restrooms available.  We hope to see you at the starting line!  Participants of all abilities\, “ON YOUR MARK”! \nRunner Amenities: Each Participant will receive a souvenir T-Shirt. To be guaranteed a T-shirt of your size\, you must register before FEBRUARY 20th. Participants will also receive an awesome “goodie” bag. Each finisher will receive an official Chase Race medal. \nRace results will be posted on Garner Timing Services website. \nREFRESHMENTS: Complimentary refreshments will be available for participants and their families on race day. \n  \nP a c k e t p i c k – u p: \nEarly packet pick up options- Compass Academy 1150 North Museum Rd Ste 108\, Conway\, AR Friday\, March 7th\, 9 AM- 6 PM or at race site on race morning\, Saturday March 8th beginning at 6:15AM-7:45 AM. \nDirections to the Race: Take I-40 to exit 127\, west on HWY 64 (Oak St) approx 1 mile to Front St.\, left (south) on Front\, Simon Park is on the right. Parking is available at various lots 1-2 blocks away.  \nAWARDS: Awards ceremony will follow all races. Awards are also available for pick up at Compass Academy week following race. Please be patient & courteous to all award recipients. With this many awards\, some will be getting personal recognition for first time\, and all takes time. DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE: Use restrooms inside the stadium or in the fine arts auditorium before walking up Bellamy to the starting line. There are limited bathrooms at the top of the hill. \nVERY IMPORTANT: We will have pre-race packet pickup from 5-7 PM on Friday\, March 20th\, 2026 at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. We highly encourage you to pickup your packet early. You may pick up for others with a copy or picture of their photo ID. All other packets will be picked up by participants on RACE MORNING between 6:30-7:45 AM at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. If you arrive after 7:45 AM to get your packet\, you will not be permitted to race. Please arrive in plenty of time to come pick up your packet\, get your shoe tag on\, and take your shirt back to your car! \nRace day registration will be available only if we have not exceeded our cap of 500 5K runners on race day BUT we will only take cash or check!! We will NOT accept cards on race day. Race day registration will be $35 for the 5K and $20 for the 1K Kids Race. Pre-registration on RunSignUp closes on 3/19/2026\, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 PM. Lincoln\nCabot\, AR US 72023\n\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nThe Spring Fling has been run in Cabot since 1996. From 1998 to 2001\, the race was part of the Arkansas Grand Prix Series. After a five year absence the Cabot Country Cruisers brought the race back into the Series starting in 2007. \nRace Highlights\n\nRace hosted by the Cabot Country Cruisers\nProceeds benefit Physical Education for Cabot Schools\, Cabot Family Track Nights and a Scholarship to a HS Student\nRace ends on the Cabot High School track\nUSATF Course Certification #: AR22001WJT\n\nDirections to the Starting Line\nFrom US-67/167:Take Exit 19 and drive east on Highway 89/Main Street which will turn in to E. Pine Street. Turn left on N. Lincoln St/Highway 38 at Cabot High School and the Panther Stadium parking lot will be on your right about a 1/4 mile. You can also park in the High School lot just west of the Field House off of E. Pine St. Please DO NOT PARK in the Field House Parking lot on Bellamy Street as this is part of the course. The race starts on Bellamy St just outside the Field House. \nPacket pickup\, pre-race waiting\, and awards ceremony will all take place in the fine arts auditorium this year. Nothing will take place inside of the fieldhouse. This is the same as it was in 2025. Start\, finish\, and food remain in the same locations. \nAddress: 401 N Lincoln St \nCourse Description\nThe Spring Fling course starts on Bellamy Street\, just outside of the Cabot High School Field House. The route heads south for 1/4 mile before turning left onto Main St. The race moves into a tree-lined residential area\, and turns south onto Honeysuckle Ln. The runners will curve along this road\, merging onto Linda Lane and continuing south to reach the 1st mile marker. Just after beginning the 2nd mile\, the course turns runners south onto G street for a small loop before returning to Linda Lane to head back to the north. Once the runners have returned to Linda Lane they will pass the 2nd mile marker. The third mile returns the runners to Honeysuckle\, Main St and then north on Bellamy to pass the starting line. The route then turns into the Field House Parking Lot and turning down the ramp to enter the Stadium. The course turns left on the track where runners will hit the 3 mile marker just before the back turn leaving runners just the turn and a short straightaway until the finish line. \nPLEASE NOTE: Use restrooms inside the stadium before walking up Bellamy to the starting line\, OR inside the lobby of the auditorium. SUMMARY:Capital City Classic 10K
DESCRIPTION:Experience the best of downtown Little Rock through Arkansas’ oldest 10K!  Once the largest road race in Arkansas\, the Capital City Classic 10K is back on its way to the top!  The event moved back to downtown Little Rock in 2022\, and while the 2023 race had to be cancelled due to a tornado\, we came back as strong as ever in 2024 and continued to grow in 2025!  From a free Kids’ Mile\, to prize money for elites\, to a 10K pace team that ranges from 40 minutes to a “Party Pace” group of 2 hours\, this is truly a race for everyone!  Participants of all abilities are welcome\, including walkers. \nMore information about the race and its storied history can be found at https://www.littlerockroadrunners.com/capital-city-classic-10k/. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nKids 1 Mile Race\n\nWe offer a FREE kids race immediately preceding the start of the 10K at 7:30 AM.  The kids race is an out-and-back course that goes over the Broadway Bridge\, which will be closed to all traffic.  Registration is open to anyone up to the age of 14 years old\, and parents are welcome to run or walk with their child if needed.  All participants will receive a t-shirt and medal! \n \n\n\n\n\n\nElite Athlete Program\n\nThe 2026 race will once again offer prize money!  The top 5 male and female finishers will receive a prize purse of at least $6\,000\, with the breakout and total amount to be finalized by January 1\, 2026. \nComplimentary entries and possible travel assistance will be provided to athletes that have recently demonstrated the ability to run sub 32:00 (M) or sub 38:00 (F).  Interested athletes can send an email to capitalcityclassic10k@gmail.com for more information. \n \n\n\n\n\n\nFinisher Medals\n\nEvery participant in the Kids’ Mile and 10K will earn a finisher medal—check out the design below!  Huge thanks Kinco Constructors for once again being our Medals Sponsors and making finisher’s medals possible.  We can’t wait to see them around your neck on race day! \n \n\n\n\n\n\nHotel Block\n\nThe AC Hotel in downtown Little Rock has discounted rates of $129/night from Friday\, March 27th through Sunday\, March 29th.  The rates will remain available until the hotel block is filled.  Located just steps away from the finish line and less than a 1/2 mile from the start line\, it’s the perfect spot to stay during race weekend! \nBook your group rate for Capital City Classic 10K \n \n\n\n\n\n\nPace Team\n\nWe’re one of the only 10k races out there that has a pace team to help you achieve your goals!  The 2026 race will feature at least five different pace groups of 45\, 50\, 59\, 70 and 80 minutes.  If you plan to be around these times make sure to be on the lookout for the pace signs.  We have great teams setup that will not only potentially help you achieve a time goal\, but will encourage\, create camaraderie and add a lot of fun to the race! \n \n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Map\n\n\n\n\n\nSpectator Course\n\nFor those that aren’t participating in the Capital City Classic\, but want to be part of the action\, we have an unofficial “spectator course” of less than a mile that allows you to see the runners at the start\, finish and two different spots in between! \n– Start at Markham and Broadway and watch the start of the race at 8am \n– Walk 5 blocks east down Markham to Scott St to catch the runners just before the 2 mile mark. \n– Head to Main and 6th which is about 4.5 miles into the race. \n– Lastly walk a couple blocks to the finish area at Capitol and Louisiana. \n \n\n\n\n\n\nPacket Pickup\n\nPackets will be available for pickup from 10 AM to 6PM on Friday\, March 27th at Rock City Running.  We highly encourage participants to pick up their package the day before the race\, but pickup will also be available on race day beginning at 6:15 AM.
