SUMMARY:Harvest Fest 5k and 2K Glow Run!
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the October night in beautiful Russ Vegas! Participants can set a personal best time on our exactly 5k open course all while shining throughout the night! Kids (And those of us not wanting to run a full 5k) can participate in our 2k Run. Come get glowed up with provided paint and glow jewelry. 2k will begin at 7:00 p.m. and 5k will begin at 7:45 p.m. \nCome early to the festivities of our Harvest Fest as there is a free live band playing from 4:00 to 6:30. Afterwards\, stick around and eat some delicious food and dessert knowing you earned it! \nRegistration fee includes t-shirt and participation medal! Overall Male/Female Runner and Overall Male/Female Walker winners in the 5k will receive Six free entries into the St. John Harvest Fest Cash Giveaway! There are 3 drawings: 1st prize – $2\,500\, 2nd prize – $1\,000\, 3rd prize – $500! There is no redraw on repeat winners\, which opens the possibility of our race winners to walk away with a total of $4\,000 cash!!!!! \nFor the Kids 2k\, Age group Boy and Girl winners will receive five free tickets to use at Harvest Fest Food and Game booths! \nPre-registrations online are guaranteed a race shirt and medal prior to closing on 10/9 @ Midnight. Walk-up registrations the day of the event are $20 and will not include a shirt or a metallic medal.

SUMMARY:Tour de Pumpkin
DESCRIPTION:The 17 mile route will be the same as previous years. An aid station will be available in London at the old City Hall parking lot. \nThe 30 mile route has two deviations from previous years’ route. This year the route will turn left on Whorton Mountain Rd off of Will Baker Rd\, then turn right on Martin Chapel School Rd. This change will bypass a section of hwy 333 and avoid an area known to have aggressive dogs.  A new location for an aid station will be at Martin Chapel. Restrooms will be available. The second deviation is from Mill Creek Rd at East Point Baptist Church. Turn right onto Bailey Loop and follow to the end and turn right onto Mill Creek Rd. This change is to avoid Mill Creek Rd that has seen increased vehicle traffic with no shoulder. \nThis years event is purposefully minimal with no T-shirt and a lower registration fee. Efforts are underway to drastically improve the Tour de Pumpkin event for 2026 through a joint cooperative committee and business sponsorship. The goal is to offer a quality supported event with a post ride meal\, t-shirt\, swag bag\, and improved routes and aid stations. \nStarting at 10 am a balance bike course will be available in Downtown (at Denver and B Street) for children under 8 years old. This is a free course complete with bikes and helmets. \nCostumes are highly encourage for all participants.
