DESCRIPTION:The Pedestal Rock and Lick Fork Bicycle ride is held every October on the 3rd Saturday of the month\, with the hope that fall foliage is in full swing. The 2023 ride will be on Saturday\, October 21. \nThe Pedestal Rock 40 supports work being done by Community Voices\, a 501(c)3 organization\, to showcase the beauty of the Authentic Ozarks and strengthen the lives of rural Arkansawyers living in the Boston Mountains of southwest Searcy County.   \nGet the information you need by using the drop-down menu next to PRLF Ride at the top of this page (in the pink bar) or the navigation links in the footer at the bottom of the page.  We’re looking forward to seeing you soon! \nNOTE FOR LICK FORK METRIC CENTURY (62-MILE) GRAVEL RIDE: We will not be able to post signs along the entire route\, so you will need to be able to download the route to your bike computer for directions. If you do not have that capability\, please do NOT register for this particular route. We will have signs along the 30- and 50-mile routes\, and there is some overlap of the courses\, but the roads that are specific to the metric century gravel ride will not be marked. \nNOTE FOR SHORTER RIDES: The start time for the 10-mile road ride and the 16-mile gravel ride is 9:30 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m.
