There will be a coveted King & Queen award for the top male and female who take on both the Wildcat Marathon and the Northwoods Enduro! \nThe Cedar Glades trails will be combined with the Northwoods trails for tons of fast single track\, machine cut trail\, loads of speed\, and tough climbs to make sure your appetite is sure to be fulfilled by the end of your race day! \nCourse map with race distance and lap details will be provided to all registered Racers the week before the race.  Be prepared for around 50 miles for the full marathon and around 25 for the half marathon (Mildcat).  Pre-ride will be the Friday before the race.  This will be a Mass Start by category where there will be a short start lap and two full laps.  The Mildcat will start after the Wildcat categories have gone out and will do the start lap and then one full lap. \nTo keep our production quality high there will be a cap on number of Racers.  Once that number has been reached registration will be closed.  If it is at least three days prior to the race a Wait List will be created (see Wait List section).  Plan accordingly and register as soon as possible so you do not miss out.

DESCRIPTION:Death by 5k is coming BACK to N. Little Rock! \nRunStrong Event’s signature 24 hour challenge\, Death by 5k requires participants to run ten 5ks starting every 2.5 hours. The first 5k starts at 8 am\, and subsequent 5ks start at 1030\, 1\, 330\, 6\, 830\, 11\, 130\, 4\, and 630 am. Participants need to be present at the start of each 5k\, and have that 5k finished prior to the start of the subsequent 5k. This challenge is designed to test participants mentally and physically with physical fatigue\, sleep deprivation\, and running in the dark. (Headlamps\, hand lights\, or some other form of illumination will be required) \nDue to the restoration work being done after the tornado damage\, the exact location of the race hq and the 5k route may be changed for safety. Tentatively\, as in the inaugural race in 2022\, Death by 5k N. Little Rock will start and finish at the rugby field at the Burns Park soccer complex\, and will be run on paved paths in the park (white oak trail)\, and including the Arkansas River Trail. Race hq will be at the rugby field. This is where food and drinks will be available. \nIn between each 5k\, participants will be able to sleep in their cars\, or to put up tents in the grass of the rugby field. There is plenty of space for pop up or camping tents. Parking will be in the soccer field parking lots across Tournament Drive from race hq \nThere will be 5 meals\, each including hot food\, served over the course of the event. Meal times will be 830a\, 130p\, 630p\, 1130p\, and 420a. There will also be plenty of snack food and drinks available throughout the event. You will not go hungry or thirsty at a RunStrong Event. \nParticipants will receive an event shirt\, along with Death by 5k swag (Bag\, coozie\, sticker\, cup).
