The course is .7 of a mile of brand-new pavement with 14 turns\, plenty of room for passing\, and a long straight for those high watt sprints! Come early to pre-ride the course and dial in those handling skills before the main event. Men and women will start together within their race categories but will have separate podiums. Cash prizes for the A race podium sponsored by Spokes Little Rock(prizes increase with every ten registered racers)\, B race prizes sponsored by Trek Little Rock\, and C race prizes sponsored by Arkansas Cycle & Fitness. Prime prizes for A\,B\,&C races sponsored by Trek\, Angry Dave’s\, AC&F\, Muk-off\, Tifosi Optics\, Hand-up Gloves\, Blue Sail Coffee\, Lost 40 brewery\, and Diamond Bear brewery.  It’s going to be hot \, but there will be free cold beer for racers courtesy of Flyway brewery! BBinfinite has supplied ceramic pulley sets for series winners so be sure to keep racing to stack those points! Each race registration enters you for a raffle for prizes from Hyperice as well! Last but not least don’t worry about sending it too hard\, because Hex carbon workshop has agreed to fix any carbon bikes damaged due to any unfortunate circumstances that may arise during racing!

He was promoted to Assistant Director of Public Works in March 2012\, providing oversight for the Civil Engineering and Operations Divisions of Public Works. In November of 2013\, Jon was promoted to Director of Public Works.\nJon will speak on several current projects including the Close the Loop Project and the Markham Street Redesign.\n\nPlease come a little early to order food. DESCRIPTION:Western Arkansas Runners is honored to be able to carry on the Annual Memorial Run honoring BRENT MORRISON who was an avid runner in the River Valley as well as the Hot Springs area.  This year will mark the 9th year that a run of some form has been held and along with honoring Brent\, we will also be honoring runners whose life’s have been taken too soon. Run in honor of that runner you knew who is no longer with us.  Our Age Group awards are always an extra special treat and all runners will receive a finishers medal as well as food\, music and runner comradery afterwards !!! A portion of the proceeds will go towards our clubs plans to host a Jr. Run Clinic\, with the remainder to go towards day-to-day use of the Western Arkansas Running Club building located in Chaffee on Taylor Ave and weekly sponsored runs.   Western Arkansas Runners- WAR- supports Runners and Walkers of all ages and gender and live by the motto “No Runners Left Behind”.  If you are unable to run/walk but are interested in volunteering or would like to make a donation please contact the race director : Sheri Nicholls @ brentmorrisonmemorial@gmail.com.  This is a certified course\, chosen to be part of the 2024 Arkansas Grand Prix and will be timed by Jaymax Timing.

This event is a fundraiser for Paragould School District’s hard- working Cross Country Team. We want to harness our team’s hobbies and passions into a profitable yet fun experience for our community. Join us for some colorful summer fun and support the fastest Rams in town! We will be starting and ending at the race at the Paragould High School. Registration will open at 6:30 and the 5K race will start at 8:00. 1 mile will begin after the 5K finishes.  Awards will follow after the races. \nShirts guaranteed until 6/13. a few extras will be ordered and will be given out first come\, first served until gone.
