DESCRIPTION:The 15th annual Resolution Run is a flat 2 miler through lower Carriage Hills subdivision. The race is an out and back course from Greene County Tech High School starting at 11:00. We will have access to the GCT Community Room so registration and awards will be inside out of any weather conditions. All runners and walkers are welcome. \nShirts will be provided to participants as they register until sizes are gone. Encourage everyone to participate.

DESCRIPTION:Kick off the New Year in style with a New Year’s Day canoe trip. Paddle down the scenic Little Maumelle River! Join the Arkansas Canoe Club for this cherished tradition on New Year’s Day\, Monday\, January 1\, 2025. We’ll meet at 11:00 AM at the Pinnacle Mountain State Park boat ramp in the West Side parking lot to unload gear and organize shuttles. \nThe route covers about three picturesque miles\, ending at The Nature Conservancy’s Ranch Northwoods Preserve. Along the way\, we’ll pause to toast 2025 with a warm cup of hot cider. Bring your lunch and any snacks or goodies you’d like to share with the group. Depending on our numbers\, we’ll stop for a bite at the camping platform (small groups) or the Ranch picnic area (large groups). \nThis event is rain or shine! SUMMARY:Athens Big Fork Trail Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The event is an “out-and-back” course beginning and ending at Big Fork Community Center ( See Google Map). The course utilizes the roads (Hwy 8\, County Rd 83\, and Forest Rd B15) between Big Fork Community Center and the Athens Big Fork Northern Trailhead\, with the remaining course consisting of the full length of the Athens Big Fork Trail to the Southern end with a half mile on Forest Rd B23F also at the Southern end of the trail before turning around for the return. Although the Athens Big Fork Trail is permanently blazed\, additional directional markers (spray chalk\, flour\, and orange cones at road intersections) will be placed.\n\nThe Athens-Big Fork Trail Marathon and Blaylock Creek 17 Mile Fun Run take place on the Athens-Big Fork Trail. This is actually > 100 year old horse postal trail. After running this\, you will wish you had a horse!
