DESCRIPTION:Three Day Trailrunning Stage Race\nThree Days of Syllamo annual gathering at Blanchard Springs in the middle of March is old school trailrunning at it’s purest. The event was created by Steve Kirk in 2005 and has become a yearly pilgrimage to the Ozarks for many adventure seekers\, reuniting for a weekend of challenging races\, fellowship and the opportunity to become one of the SYLLAMOPEOPLE! \nOver the course of three days\, runners will experience the Sylamore\, Syllamo and Ozark Highlands Trails. Winding\, climbing and descending through the rugged Sylamore Ranger District including several creek crossings\, past scenic vistas and bluffs and through dense forest \nCourses\nCourses…Change Every Year! \nDay One \n50KM: This run will take place on the Syllamo Trails. Full aid stations will be provided at approximately 4-8 miles apart. Due to the unique nature of these trails the race will not be exactly 50KM. \nRace Start: 9:00AM\nTime Limit: 10 Hours \nDay Two \n50 MILE: “This is where the fun starts”. This run will be held on the Sylamore\, Syllamo and Ozark Highlands Trails that winds\, climbs and descends through the beautiful Sylamore Ranger District including several creek crossings\, past scenic vistas and bluffs and through dense forest. Full aid stations will be located approximately 4-9 miles apart. \nRace Start: 6:00AM\nTime Limit: 14 Hours \nDay Three \n20KM: This run will take place on the Jack’s Branch Loop. DESCRIPTION:**** REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 45 ATTENDEES **** \nThe training provided at this clinic is meant to develop the necessary skills for a race mechanics and prepare you to step into the role working for neutral support at a race or working for a team.  Our expectation is you already have experience working as a mechanic.  \nYour confirmation email will provide information on a lodging option and additional requirements to hold a mechanics license with USA Cycling. \nWe are still finalizing the agenda for the course and will get that to all registered attendees as soon as possible. For now\, here is the timeline for travel planning. \nFriday\, March 14 – 5:00 PM \n\nCheck in and Meet & Greet with the Instructors\nLocation TBD\nWe will provide more details on how the course will flow\, testing\, etc.\n\nSaturday\, March 15 – Monday\, March 17 – 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM \n\nClinic sessions\nThese will be long days!\nWe will divide attendees into three groups and cycle each group through all the class offerings over the 3-days of sessions.\nLunch will be provided on these days\n\nTuesday\, March 18 – 8:00 AM \n\nTest day! It won’t be as bad as it sounds ??\nWe will take a short break while tests are graded and then come back as a group to discuss it.\nWe should be wrapped up no later than noon for travel planning\n\nIf the schedule permits\, we may build in time to do a group mountain bike ride in the area.

DESCRIPTION:The Spring Fling has been run in Cabot since 1996. From 1998 to 2001\, the race was part of the Arkansas Grand Prix Series. After a five year absence the Cabot Country Cruisers brought the race back into the Series starting in 2007. \nRace Highlights\n\nRace hosted by the Cabot Country Cruisers\nProceeds benefit Physical Education for Cabot Schools and a Scholarship to a HS Student\nRace ends on the Cabot High School track\nUSATF Course Certification #: AR22001WJT\n\nDirections to the Starting Line\nFrom US-67/167:Take Exit 19 and drive east on Highway 89/Main Street which will turn in to E. Pine Street. Turn left on N. Lincoln St/Highway 38 at Cabot High School and the Panther Stadium parking lot will be on your right about a 1/4 mile. You can also park in the High School lot just west of the Field House off of E. Pine St. Please DO NOT PARK in the Field House Parking lot on Bellamy Street as this is part of the course. The race starts on Bellamy St just outside the Field House. \nNEW FOR 2025: \nPacket pickup\, pre-race waiting\, and awards ceremony will all take place in the fine arts auditorium this year. Nothing will take place inside of the fieldhouse. Start\, finish\, and food remain in the same locations. \nAddress: 401 N Lincoln St \nCourse Description\nThe Spring Fling course starts on Bellamy Street\, just outside of the Cabot High School Field House. The route heads south for 1/4 mile before turning left onto Main St. The race moves into a tree-lined residential area\, and turns south onto Honeysuckle Ln. The runners will curve along this road\, merging onto Linda Lane and continuing south to reach the 1st mile marker. Just after beginning the 2nd mile\, the course turns runners south onto G street for a small loop before returning to Linda Lane to head back to the north. Once the runners have returned to Linda Lane they will pass the 2nd mile marker. The third mile returns the runners to Honeysuckle\, Main St and then north on Bellamy to pass the starting line. The route then turns into the Field House Parking Lot and turning down the ramp to enter the Stadium. The course turns left on the track where runners will hit the 3 mile marker just before the back turn leaving runners just the turn and a short straightaway until the finish line. \nPLEASE NOTE: Use restrooms at the bottom of the track (right inside the stadium) before walking up Bellamy to the starting line\, OR inside the lobby of the auditorium. There are NO bathrooms at the top of the hill.  \nVERY IMPORTANT: We will have pre-race packet pickup from 5-7 PM on Friday\, March 21st at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. We highly encourage you to pickup your packet early. You may pick up for others with a copy or picture of their photo ID. All other packets will be picked up by participants on RACE MORNING between 6:30-7:45 AM at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. If you arrive after 7:45 AM to get your packet\, you will not be permitted to race. Please arrive in plenty of time to come pick up your packet\, get your bib on\, and take your shirt back to your car!  \nRace day registration will be available only if we have not exceeded our cap of 500 5K runners on race day\, cash or check only made out to Cabot Country Cruisers! DESCRIPTION:Race is being held at the beautiful Lake Catherine State Park. You have the choice of two races\, both are challenging\, so you have to make up your mind if you want to run a 10K or a 5K. \n10K race is being ran on the Dam Mountain Trail and consists of making two laps around the trail and then out to the finish line. \n5K race is being ran on the Horseshoe Mountain Trail.
