SUMMARY:Run the Line Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The Run the Line Half Marathon is a unique opportunity to run in one half marathon in Texas and Arkansas on a USATF certified single-loop course.  The race starts at W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd in downtown Texarkana\, Texas\, quickly moves into Arkansas\, crosses back into Texas\, and finishes in Texarkana\, Arkansas. The course includes 10-ft wide asphalt trails that wind through residential neighborhoods on city streets. The finish line is downtown at 3rd and Wood Streets in front of the Hopkins Ice House about 5 blocks from the start. \nWe are a Road Runner Club of America event member. We have also applied to be a qualifying race again in the 2025 Natural State Running Series. The races and registration are available at www.naturalstateruns.com. \nA portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas State Line. The 2026 course is USATF certified (AR19015WJT). DESCRIPTION:“DO THE HAVEN HUSTLE 5K” \nThe Haven Hustle 5K” is a fundraiser to benefit Haven Homes of Texarkana. Haven Homes is a faith-based\, non-profit organization that serves both men and women in the Texarkana/Four States area who are struggling with life issues such as drug abuse\, alcoholism\, and addiction. Through safe housing\, work and service programs\, counseling\, and spiritual guidance\, we help individuals in need grow and thrive. The Haven Homes mission is to bring restoration to broken people through grace-based discipleship. We seek to reach those in pain from addiction and\, through God’s grace\, help these individuals receive love\, joy\, hope\, and healing. Haven Homes offers a Transitional Home for women coming out of Bowie County Women’s Center.
