DESCRIPTION:The session will serve two purposes –\n1. Resource sharing – short presentations on resources available to communities and industry \n2. Information gathering – public input and comments on what resources are being utilized and/or what they need more of. \nThe Arkansas Office of Outdoor Recreation is touring the state!\nDuring the year 2024\, we will be hosting Outdoor Recreation Regional Listening Sessions in various communities.\n\nWe will provide short presentations on resources available to communities and industry\, but we also want public input and comments on what resources are being utilized and/or what you need more of in your community\n\nOur second meeting will be at the AGFC Witt Stephens Nature Center in Little Rock\, AR on May 1 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.\nThis event is open to the public but will be geared toward members of the community and outdoor recreation industry in the surrounding area. People such as advocacy groups\, mayors\, county judges\, city councils\, and chambers of commerce. Industry members would be bike shops\, boat manufacturers\, river guides\, duck lodges\, outfitters\, anyone with an outdoor rec company\, or aspiring outdoor rec entrepreneurs
